After what we went through in the single-player debacle this spring, how do you justify charging for this?

Don't give me any of the tired old excuses of, "well it costs money to make", this is just a lame attempt to try to recoup some of the EC costs.

Charging for WEAPONS? get a life!!!

They're a company. They need to get paid. It's their job. How in the world do you think that's 'an excuse'?

Reading all this flame towards BW/EA makes me wonder.

If a person doesn't like the game/DLCs/devs/whatever, why stick around? I respect your right for opinion in every way, don't get me wrong - I just don't understand why would people start a flame war after BW announced a DLC. No one forces you to pay for it. I, for one, love the Leviathan idea and will gladly play it.

Yes, there were mistakes. Yes, the ending (seriously, why always revive this over and over again? It's a thing of the past now). Yes, slow patches (I recommend reading dev posts about this issue, it's not entirely the devs' fault). I really think we should give BW the benefit of the doubt and stop this flaming. It's all the same arguments over and over again.

For me, BW is a company that tries very hard to satisfy its customers. And I will always be thankful to them for creating the best franchise I ever played. Yeah, that's right - ME is and for very long will be the game I love the most.

BW, you have my gratitude, regardless of what other people are saying.

so glad i not alone !! cheers mate!

This is how I feel too... The EC makes ME3 playable for me and I can't wait to play the Leviathan and maybe get these weapons too.

I can't stop loving mass effect... don't care so much about what ppl are talking

I only nosed through a couple of pages of this thread but quick question;

What happens for those of us who already own the Indra in SP? I got mine with the alienware giveaway a while back. Do we get a different weapon instead or can we rank our current indras up to 11?

If no to both of those then is there any chance of getting a marginally cheaper weapons pack minus the indra? I dont really like paying for things ive already got.

Already have the Indra, Raider and Argus...

edit: I'd settle for a Collector Assault Rifle multiplayer code :P

Me too my friend. The EC make mass effect 3 playable again for me. Not spending three months fooling myself expecting some conspiracy theory(it) would be in the extended cut was a good choice.

I also have the Indra on SP....

Same here :)

I'm quite aware of the few flaws in the ME serie, but i can't stop loving it. Don't know if you guys know this picture, but it fairly sums up my ME infatuation :

Thanks, but this is IGN's stream capture. Looks like BioWare hasn't released a high quality direct feed copy of the trailer yet, for some reason :/. Probably saving it for prior to launch.

Not to be a jerk but...
1. Leviathan and Bring Down the Sky dont even have anything to do with each other.
2. They already resolved Bring Down the Sky in the "Batarian Access Codes" quest on the Citadel in 3 after the coup.

Quest in which Balak explains how Leviathan endoctrinated Batarian scientists who were studying it so that they made it more than easy for the Reapers to invade Batarian space.

As Leviathan has been discovered and hiden by Batarian scientists, it is not that far streched to imagine Shepard will have to mess with some Batarians in that Leviathan DLC, and why not ally with one of them.

I was about to say something similar...
Yeah, it would be nice to have some batarians in this DLC.

I know they're not connected or probably aren't, but if the Batarian terrorist from bring down the sky was somehow connected to the laviathan dlc and was forced to ally with you to solve the mystery and locate the leviathan reaper, I feel it would be an interesting alliance.  Especially as Shepard wouldnt know wether he could trust the Batarian and if or when he would turn on him.
