But I still wish they could give us the rest... the Striker is another favorite of mine, the Pirahna is pretty cool to, and I even like the Kishock... but I haven't even gotten a chance to try the N7 Typhoon or the Acolyte; I especially want the Typhoon. Perhaps they will come in a future weapon pack... I'll be looking forward to that.
And then we have these new weapons; the Adas and the Punisher. And SMG with armor-piercing capabilities sounds good... and we get our first Vorcha weapon in the game, which is unexpected. The Adas? I'm all for unique weapons, but I'm curious to see just how this new Quarian AR differs from the Reegar and Arc Pistol.

This just represents Bioware's attempt to glean more money from the fanbase. What utter garbage. The company wouldn't have had to undergo such damage control like this if it had obtained decent writers for the ending. Period.

But watching the game on youtube, really ? That does not make sense for me. I don't want to watch this story happenning to another Shepard than mine. And this DLC is not just about cinematics : some gameplay and dialogue choices come along. And the delightful illusion you're part of it.
I'm hungry anyway. I'm gonna watch some random guy eat a sandwich on youtube now.

Well no one is forcing you to buy it.Nephilim5 wrote...
Another means to obtain money from the fans. The irony is that Priestly's tease offers a weapon/option that could stop the Reapers. It obviously didn't, so that's why we're stuck with the cul de sac that stands as the ending (and yeah, that's AFTER the DLC).

To be frank, the story ended on an incomplete, rushed, and unsatisfactory note, and adding content at this point when the company has stated that it will not make any further changes to the ending just smacks of arrogance. I did not download the final DLC: I watched it on Youtube, and I have no wish to play through something that will penultimately disappoint someone who possesses degrees and experience in literature and the teaching of said literature.
Adding this content just reeks of a slimy need for people's cash. The content of the company's previous games has been impressive, to say the least. I am at a loss, therefore, as to how this has been handled so dismissively.
And by the way, most of the moderators here have been relatively magnanimous, and I appreciate that, especially given some of the vitriol they've received. However, it does not give anyone license to respond in a catty or otherwise petty way. The "end of line" nonsense from Stanley Woo ought to stop, as an example. It's a forum, Stan, not an expansive fiefdom of imaginary servants.

Yes, a pile of weapon useless against the reapers and a wooping + 10 to EMS strength pretty useless too...
Very nice indeed...
Really I can wait, forever...
JPR out!

Please read the original post by Priestly. The DLC takes place BEFORE the ending. We already know what happens. Despite the introduction of whatever this "weapon" is, the endings still occur as they do, depending on how you have, ahem.....scripted.....them. The DLC is pointless and a waste of narrative time.
You will be waiting forever, child, if you were looking for completion of a mileu.

With some additional time to think about this (and with watching Stanley Woo's unbelievably arbitrary and heavy-handed moderation choices), I believe Bioware has begun to make choices that would perhaps expand on the mythos of single-player ME, and while I certainly applaud the effort, it leaves what amounts to a bitter aftertaste, much akin to a spoiled wine or a burrito-gone sour: I certainly reveal my locality in such references.

At least with the EC they improved it. A small bit.
But i believe you can go to the other forum and talk about this. I don't want to hear it. I actually enjoyed the ending, especially Synthesis.

You don't like it, don't pay for it. Move on to another game(which will also take more $$ from you).
Why do so may people think everything sould be free? BioWare is a business. they charge for their services. get over it.

If you liked it, then great for you. If you don't enjoy dissenting opinions, then don't read them, genius.

I've beaten ME3 already with the weapons available, new guns add nothing to the single player experience.
For the story DLC; if there's no effect (real effect, not readiness numbers leading up to the Cerberus Base invasion) on the ending I may watch the best bits on Youtube or read the Wiki updates for the ME universe, but I don't care to go back into a story I'm done with.
Almost makes Day 1 DLC desirable if the events of the DLC don't take place after the main story is over.
This is why I had no problem with From Ashes. Maybe it was mediocre DLC in terms of the mission, but it added so much to the quality of the story through great dialogue (just love the Liara/Javik exchanges). In all my playthroughs, immediately following the first mission to Mars, I completed From Ashes because it just made the playthroughs that much more enjoyable. I have no issue with paying for Day 1 DLC, so long as I think the game detached from it is worth the $60....and I did for ME3.
Actually I found Liara a lot more bearable in my last ME3 playthrough because I never bothered to go to Eden Prime. Once you've saved Javik Liara never shuts up about protheans for the entire game. Also after one full playthrough with Javik I honestly don't feel any reason to ever bother using him again. Javik was boring for the most part, DLC characters always suffer because of limited dialogue. If I could get rid of From the Ashes and put the Bioware points towards Leviathan instead I would not hesitate.
Wow, we are on different sides of the fence and I appreciate your take. I love Liara as much as the next person, but it was a great twist to watch all her suppositions about the universe crumble, brick by brick, as Javik explained the hard realities of Prothean dominance. Plus, without Javik you miss 2 great dialogue sequences....that exchange with Tali while she's under the influence is riotous and then of course "They used to eat flies"...the Javik dialogue was some of the best Bioware has presented...rivals Minister Sheng and HK-47 in my opinion....and then without From Ashes I think you are missing a tremendous piece of the historical backdrop. I can't imagine playing Thessia without Javik, it's completely different, absent of his inclusion in the party. Love me some Javik!
Also looking forward to Leviathan, willing to pay for both!

Well now we finally have Singleplayer DLC that might explain that. But if you keep complaining about this single-player DLC they might not release more. That might be the reason why this DLC took so long and we have multiplayer DLC up the yin-yang, actually.

Guys, come on, enough with the complaints. Do you know how long I've been waiting for an explanation as to why a completed game creates a "Legend" save?

For me it's pretty clear. They made the Stargazer and the "LEGEND" save as plan B, and all the dream sequences and weird happenings after Harbinger hits Shepard as Plan C.
So after Casey, Hudson and Gamble fall they could come with a "Sorry, everything was made up for Stargazer to impress the kid" or a "Sorry, but everything was Harbinger trying to indoctrinate Shepard".
Walters fell, it's official. Tomorrow the new credits of Leviathan will be known and I'm expecting to see that Hudson fell too, as Weekes is listed as DLC producer.
And as soon as the sales of Leviathan are shown to BLOW HARD, and not even close to the expectations of EA (Dead Space 3 HAVE to sell 5 million), Gamble is probably going bye-bye too. That's why he have been acting this way lately... Why the hell would a dead man care about consequences?

EDIT: As for the question about the indra I believe it was only obtainable through the Alienware offer on the PC. There isnt currently a way to get it on Xbox or PS3 in SP that I know of and I believe the Indra offer on Alienware's site expired.
