Amazing. I get to pay for SP weapons that I already unlocked in MP. Marvelous.

Im thinking along the same lines - I am definitely buying Leviathan, but the weapons pack seems pointless. I like using the CE N7 weapons and the avenger anyway in SP Mass Effect because its more Alliance-appropriate.

I anticipated 10 usd for the single player DLC after From Ashes. The 2 usd for the weapon pack is a good price I think.
Am I the only one who finds it amazingly cheap to charge for access to MP weapons in SP? They are already in your game. There is no special product addon. All they are doing is letting you have access to them in the SP game you paid for.

Exactly! Weapons that are already in your game you have to pay extra to be allowed to use in the SP game you paid $60 for already. Hooray for micro transactions to access content you've already downloaded!

You know... Knowing that September isn't going to be warm and that it is called syyskuu in Finnish (="autumn month") doesn't help. If one says this summer, no one expects it to be September here. From my point of view summer lasts only two months so something more accurate than "this summer" would be nice. It looks like it's not going to be this month since otherwise they would have said it for sure.ufc345 wrote...
You're thinking of Summer Vacation. The season ends September 21Tup3xi wrote...
That would mean that it's not going out this summer. XDf1r3storm wrote...

I just hope that with summer they mean that it is coming this August.

Doesn't sound like it's too far off. Maybe at at the beginning of September.

And I can get it free via my 360 rewards program points but I'm not going to waste what I built up on this.

I'll watch it on youtube or read what it's about. Pay for it? Nope. How the game ends, it doesn't add a thing putting stuff pre-ending in the game. It's like buying a book with 20 chapters and then the author tells you to buy chapter 7 later of the now 21 chapter book.
And I can get it free via my 360 rewards program points but I'm not going to waste what I built up on this.
So pretty much like every dlc ever?

Not buying it. Not even going to use my free XBL points on it. Actually working up to using it on Arkham City DLC. I did use my free points on DA2 DLC only because I couldn't see anything else to use it on. This time I actually do have my eyes on another.

As far as charging for the weapon pack, big deal. It's a one time investment that amounts to $2.00, and you get 7 weapons. Yes, it would be nice if you didn't have to buy at least 400 points, but you'll end up using the rest of the balance on future DLC anyway. I haven't used many of the weapons in the pack, because I grew tired of playing for hours in multiplayer just so I could acquire the same character cards over and over and weapons I didn't want. Yes, it would be nice if the weapons were available for free in SP, but at least most of the DLC has been free up to this point. Could be worse, they could make multiple 3 weapon packs and sell them for 160 points each. In ME2, you only got one weapon pack with 3 weapons, and it cost the same as this one.
As far as micro-transactions are concerned, I haven't had to pay for anything other than the game until now, 5 months later. Go play Diablo 3 and come back to talk about micro-transaction woes. I wish they were able to go back and spend a lot more time on the SP portion of the game, especially with the ending, but since I don't see it happening anytime soon, try to enjoy what is available. Good thing it's optional.

Go over to single-player, you have easy access to every weapon and mod in the game and you can upgrade the one you use with little effort and completely ignore the ones you don't. Anything more than that, like the N7 weaponry or these weapon packs, are just icing on the cake, and 100% optional. You don't need an edge in single player because you will always know what to expect, so everything you do is because you can and want to. You want to annihilate Kai Leng with a Harrier instead of a Mattock, go right ahead. It's your money and your time, do with it as you wish, so long as we don't hear about what you're NOT going to do because that is just counter-productive.

Sweet, you're not buying it. Better come on the forums to let everyone know. It's EXTREMELY important that people know you're not going to buy it. And for those who are still pissed off about the ending, and feel boycotting further DLC that doesn't add to or fix the ending will make you feel better, great, keep at it. I was just as irritated by the ending of ME3 as everyone else, and although the extended cut didn't "make everything better" at least it made it more palatable. I think Bioware dropped the ball by taking the focus off SP to work on MP, and all die-hard fans suffered for it, but as long as they at least attempt to address some of the issues and continue to offer new content for the game, it makes the initial disappointment easier to cope with.
