That's probably legit. PSN (Playstation Netowork) Store updates on Tuesdays. It supposably isn't coming out later today, or surely we'd had been told about it no? It could be coming out on the 21st, but 28th is a Tuesday aswell. On the plus side, if you get your hopes up for the 28th and it comes out on the 21st you get to pleasantly surprised. Here's to hopeful surprises!

Says they got the release date from a recent podcast, yet doesn't link to it. So don't count it as official unless someone from Bioware states it is :-)

I agree, it has to be Chris Priestly or one of the Moderators on this site to confirm the true date of the DLC.

Named in memory of the quarians killed in the Morning War on the planet Adas, this weapon's electrical attack has been optimized for medium- to long-range firefights. Alliance marines take issue with calling it a "rifle" since, technically, it has no rifling in its barrel. The quarians shrug this off, as quarian weapon terminology rarely translates flawlessly into human languages."
How do any Mass Effect operated weapons have rifling? It would be useless; the gun shaves a sand grain-size piece of metal from a block and fires it at supersonic speed by lowering its mass. How could rifling benefit a process like this at all?
Rifling increases the stability of a bullet by imparting a a spin to it, how does that help a "sand grain-size piece of metal"?
I know Bioware stopped caring about actually making this stuff believable and interesting after ME1 but this is just terrible. I mean, ugh.
Oh, and the DLC seems overpriced, poorly made, and story-inconsistent. Basically business as usual.

Yes it does. Its in the last paragraph. And if you STILL can't find it, heres a link: quadcast.net/post/28840340737/episode-007-chase-tanner-boyajian
I listened to it - its an interview with two trailer makers for Bioware, and they drop the August 28th date about 1/3 of the way into the podcast.

FYI that podcast was about trailers and isn't speaking about the DLC release date. That's not to say it won't come out on the 28th or what have you, but just wanted to clarify for those of you who misunderstood what was said during the podcast
Ha exactly.

No that podcast doesn't even say the month. They just say 28th, and they're referring to the teaser trailer from last month.
Comes in @ about 4:16 into the podcast.
