Yo Kuro calm down, it's your opinion to think Bioware wronged you. If that is true you shouldn'y care what other people think or try and argue with them over meaningless crap.
We are here to discuss the DLC and other related topics, not bash Bioware everytime they announce something.
I wasn't really bashing bioware. I'm just trying to understand the point of this DLC. In ME2 the dlc either affected things in the game, or it set flags for ME3. That's cool it gave a purpose to the mission or whatever it was you were doing, but this? Lets say you uncover some new lore about the reapers or discover some weapon the ending is done and fixed and unless they lied shepard's story is over so there's no next game for leviathan to matter in. I'm not trolling I'm legitimately trying to understand the point of this.

You used family guy. That says a lot about the quality of the entertainment you consume. Your existence is invalid.
Actually Family Guy is witty and good social satire, cuz. Your irrational complaints are old and invalid.

If so, it'd better be free for this too. But it's EA, so I won't put shady business tactics beyond them.

Let me get this straight... in this weapon pack they're basically re-packaging the multiplayer weapons we got for free into singleplayer?

someone is dense the MP guns are free, the New sp guns are not apart of Mp so yes you do have to pay for them, and no there not repackaged ie the indra was actually a alien computer event award for the sp game for the pc only.
now their letting the consoles players and the ones that didnt know about the event to get it and in the dlc you get the argus rifle that we CE/ and people that orded from amazon and other places that had that free gun code..
as for the MP guns be glad they letting us have them

Just because the story is finished and set doesn't mean there are no other aspects of the universe that would be cool to check out in DLC. As far as the point of the DLC goes I think it's in the OP: "discover more about the mysterious history of the Reapers".

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but I don't really get what your saying. You mean you would never watch a single movie that doesn't have a currently available sequel, because there is nothing else after it ends? I don't really understand that reasoning.
True, this DLC will have no impact on the ending, but I'm not expecting it to. I'm playing it for the story and more information about the mass effect universe. Having Leviathan on side / killing it / whatever the outcome is can't be expected to suddenly make a brand new ending - it just doesn't work like that.
No, if you want to use that analogy, it would be that I understand that he wouldn't want to pay for a deleted scene in a movie if that scene is never aknowledged further in the movie and the studio said there won't be any more movies, so there is no chance it will ever be acknowledged in the future. (Sorry for the run on, wasn't sure how I'd separate it
It's basically a "What-If" scenario, but worse. It's like a "What-If", because no one in your canon will remember it happened. It'd be worse than a "What-If", because we won't see a result of that scenario. "What if this happened, except we won't show you what happens if that happened."
I'm not saying a whole new ending needs to be made for it. If Bioware wants people to pay for additional content, they need to show that it has an actual impact on the story.

What you are asking is for bioware to spoil the entire story of Leviathan so you can justify a purchase. What if Bioware added another ending with this DLC, we don't know because if we did that would spoil the experience. Right now all we know is that we are going to learn more about the Reapers, which is something I have been wondering about since ME1. The rest is a mystery. Yea there is a risk DLC won't effect the game's story at all but the same can be said about the other extreme and it will change a great deal. There is that kind of risk in all purchases we make, whether be going to a movie or buying a book or anything else like that. Bioware has made mistakes in the past but its successes out weigh them at least in my mind, so I got no problem giving Bioware the benefit of the doubt and giving ten bucks to play there next creation.

I already avoid weapon/skin packs since they seems like a cheap way to make a buck, but this is especially true since I've already used those guns in MP. I can get behind story based DLC since it takes some serious effort, but I won't be buying the Firefight pack.

I highly doubt they're adding a new ending with this new DLC. If they were, I'm pretty sure it would be one of the bulleted selling points. Something like: a new outcome of the Reaper war, or uncover a resource that could turn the tide. Bioware would be really stupid to not hint at a new ending. The lack of an enjoyable ending (for some) is one of the main factors that will hurt the sales of this DLC.

I am just trying to make a point, that the journey of discover is more fun then just knowing.
