Hey guys bought the deluxe digital download, love the game by the way :D. But I"m well into the game, and when I checked DLC warden's keep wasn't downloaded, which is included in the deluxe edition. I tried to buy it or download it won't let me, also all the in game items aren't there as well. I redeemed my code and the golem promo worked, but wc, helm, staff, grimore aren't there. Please lend a hand if you know :D Thanks a lot and happy holidays.

p.s. it was through steam.

Hi,

When you start the game up, do you have a popup when you "Shift-Tab" that lists 2 CD keys? (One would be a Game CD Key and the other is a CD Key.)

If so, you need to register the Game CD Key on the website. (You can do this by right-clicking the Dragon Age game icon in the Steam Games list) Once you have registered, you can then go into the game, click on "Downloadable Content" in the game and then "Redeem Code". This will take you to the website where you can redeem the code to get the extra content.

Let it all download and you are good to go. Some of the items you are to receive, you can get instantly when you start and some can only be bought from the merchant in "Camp" once you get to the main map listing all the different main quest locations like Redcliffe. - The rest of the blood armor is one such set that you need to buy in your party's camp.

Edit: Whoops, I re-read your message and now I see you already knew how to do that. I'm not sure why it hasn't set up the rest of it. I know the Warden's keep quest has to be started by visiting Levi in camp so it won't appear before you talk to him. Also, some of the extra stuff has to be bought in camp like I said. You'll probably get the Helmet, the Armor part of the Blood Armor set and the Grimoire of teh Frozen Waste when you start a Campaign. The rest is in Camp. If it still doesn't work, email their support team and see what Bioware says.

I don't exactly what your problem is, but I can tell you that I didn't get it to work properly either.

There's a problem with a service that runs in the background (DA updater something, forgot the whole name). Even now, I have to manually go into Windows administration and services to make sure it's turned on, or my DLC won't work.

Once I did do that, however, everything was magically downloaded and worked.

Really poor job on the DLC overall. You shouldn't have to run a special service to get it to work in the first place, and even when you do, one of the origin stories removes your DLC items. I hope someone got in trouble for this, but I'm guessing that's not the case.

That's just your experience. I (and I'm sure many others) don't need to run any special service to get DLC working. As for your second point, they already fixed that in an update.

OP, is your firewall open?

No, it's not just my experience. The DA updater service is needed. Why it doesn't start on my computer (and many other people's computers you know, I found out because many others had the same problem) is hard to say, but I'm sure it isn't something I did wrong.

Complaints aside, it's a very good idea to check if the service is running.
