Up until now all companions and especially all LI's have been bipedal mammals. This is unforgiveably specieist and unworthy of a caring gaming company such as Bioware.

At the very least, one of the companions should be a non bipedal mammal. But more importantly it is the total and complete neglect of reptiles that really rubs the wrong way. The games are entitled 'Dragon Age' and yet there are no LI's who are in fact dragons. How can that be justified?

I actually agree with this in a not-entirely-ironic fashion. Some variety of draconic humanoid could be... most intriguing...

Hello, FLEMETH! :P That not dragon enough for you??

If we have dragon people (dragons in human form) I want them to be scrumptiously sexy humans with like dragony eyes or something, not fugly reptilian people.  Cause, as I've said many times, I'm shallow like that.

Yeah, but you could get dog killed without ever having to recruit him.

What kinda message is that sending, huh?

I'm having a hard time seeing the sinister since you can do the same with Leliana, Sten, and Zevran - all of whom are bipedal mammals. :)

Although, I think female bipedal mammals have a little more favor with the devs since Leliana will get resurrected for DA2.

I demand equal treatment for our tiny microbial friends! Except for ebola or the bubonic plague or smallpox, you know, because they suck.

It's great that you're trying to be inclusive and stuff, but I'm more concerned about the mammals present in the game. They shouldn't be retconned or anything. Bethany's breasts magically shrinking after 5 minutes of game, immersion breaking. Established breast size should be left alone.

This blatant mammal favoritism is exactly why we need a ghast companion.

Reptillians? Nah, I'd prefer to have some feathery lover. A griffon!

Well, Dog was a full companion in DA:O, and a DLC party member in DA2, so non-bipedal mammals have had at least some representation.

But the lack of Ser Pounce A Lot in DA2 was sorely disappointing. I'm not saying he should have been an LI, but even some flirt lines would have been nice.

I'm up for more non-human companions as long as they aren't overly stereotypical. Humans seem to be all sorts but other races seem to be so stereotypical. Another Qunari companion would be awesome. As for non-mammalian.... I wonder whether some DA fans would object to the fact that the female companions *should* missing two particular appendages. Cuz you know, reptiles don't need those things. However, that should eliminate issues like the kerfuffle about Isabela and her miraculous ability to stay upright. :-P

I like companions that can talk, though, so while it'd be great to have a pet companion, I consider them more like a familiar, and that full-fledged companions have dialogue.

See we can fix this, just make all reptillian LI male, with zippersImage IPB *pants*  and and all feathery LI female and then not only can they have ample chest but it can be a brightly coloured! *this would also help Mass Effect fans cause it would solve where the Turians stash all their females. It's win, win and more win.
