How To Fake Overpowered Weapons And Call For Fake Rebalances

Then you slap some level 5 max shotgun, assault rifle, sniper rifle or pistol gear for the particular weapon that you're using then. Then you pick out level 3 or 4 consumable for that particular weapon then you slap some level 3 or 4 armour penetration ammo or warp ammo then
You Pick a damage or accuracy enhancing character to buff your already super buffed weapon now any decent weapon that you have picked now has become super charged from your gear and consumable plus the high accuracy or damage enhancement from your particular character.
Now you pull out your camera during a gold or platnium match you take out a atlas or a banshee or whatever high boss mob you can think of then you go to the bioware multiplayer forum make a thread about that particular weapon annoy enough people and they will keep comment on your thread long enough to maybe make bioware check out the thread and decide on the next Rebalancing.

It might be good for trolling the forums, but no changes would come from it.

This is how every nerf movement on here towards a weapon has happened. (original kysae exluded, we all knew it was op)
Now just how much this impacts the big E's decision making is left up to speculation.

I'd almost argue that for the simple fact is that one class the infiltrator was used to make that weapon in particular be really powerful even more on the geth cause of the accuracy and damage enhancement that I talked about in my original post

Slap that weapon on a QMI/Demolisher, put on grenade gear and power amps, run a public random game in London, outscore everyone with grenades. Take 1 screenshot of the end and 1 of you holding the gun in game. If there is a decent player who prevented you from scoring 100k more than the rest, do another one
After that its done, overpowered weapon with pics

There wasn't one for smash.
Destroyer mode had a tiny one, and it received a tiny nerf.
There is very little correlation between nerfs and people asking for nerfs currently.
If anything, there is a greater correlation of people soloing platinum, and nerfs.....

That's because you're not part of the nerfer society, they have direct contact with Bioware, they decide which power/weapon to nerf to ****** the most people off.

Agreed. BW don't need to read these forums. They just look at their game play data. Which ever character/weapon is being used successfully by the largest number of people, is prime candidate for nerfing..er, i mean re-balancing.

Agreed.
It seemed pretty balanced on other classes.
If only there was a way for it to have gotten the TC bonus for just the first shot then it would have been somewhat balanced after the first 10% damage nerf.
That's why I thought the Typhoon was going to be fine since the sputter when it starts up means 'trators can't use it very effectively.

How do you know I am not acting oblivious, I mean, this guy you are addressing is freinds with goddess Paladin, the most well known of the balancing act.
What If I am one phonecall away from having all the things nerfed right now.
One thought away from causing an entire hivemind to collapse, alongiside all of your favorite weapons stats....

At the end of the day, if weapon/class X really is balanced, then no amount of thread posting will get it nerfed. And if weapon/class X really is overpowered, no amount of lamenting and tearing of clothes will stop it from getting nerfed.

You can't fool the data mining. Bioware will be able to see if X weapon/class gets used far more than it should. They can also figure out things like the likelihood of people winning the game when they are using X weapon/class vs Y weapon/class.

I'd like to believe that but bioware actually does pay attention to the threads or does take the community into account the community could be dead wrong or even do stuff like I mentioned in my first post and bioware still may consider it.
