How and where have I tried to shut down this discussion? Disagreement is a fundamental part of any discussion, I'd say.

I am going to assume picking mods that compliment the weapon are not considered part of the gear enhancements you are talking about. Obviously, somebody will choose the smart choke with the pirahna without second thought. It still has decent acuracy then, and can still be much better than other options with no gear.

There is very little correlation between nerfs and people asking for nerfs currently.

If anything, there is a greater correlation of people soloing platinum, and nerfs.....

A reload canceled Claymore comes close but so far, the Piranha is the best weapon for wiping out enemies as quickly as possible. Are the Claymore and Reegar viable? Very. Just as good? No.

Well I've outscored many other users with the claymore and the reegar despite them using the pirahana so could it be perception + the extreme bonuses I mentioned?

You can disagree all you like, but I still don't have to link you as there are many balance/nerf thread all over this forum and they are not hard to find at all. This is naturally my personal view on the subject matter though, and probably the view of others. Or something similar as that would explain why people react the way they do on at least quite a few occassions.

But yes, when you picked out that particular section of what I said, you came across as trying to take it out of context. As standing alone, or shifted slightly differently, it loses meaning. And is an effective way to shut someone down.

I'm not denying there will be score discrepencies based on skill level of people you are playing with. Do YOU preferm better on a regular basis with a reegar or claymore over the piranha?

You're the one putting forward the hypothesis that "someone outscoring them, making everyone play the same way as them" etc. is the reason why nerfers are making nerf threads.

The burden of proof is on you to support your argument.

I did say that. It was more of a outcry directed to the community as a whole, "please stop assuming so much, BSN!". But yeah, sorry.

Actually yes I do and I even use a kroguard when I do feel like using the pirhana and yet it still is hard to hit stuff with that from a few feet away and I have easyer time doing so with the claymore and reegar hell even the n7 crusader which is kinda on the so so side still works just as good .
