Cerberus gunsmiths reined in the recoil issues, resulting in a gun that stays on target but delivers slightly less punch per round than a standard Mattock. As such, the weapon is typically utilized by Cerberus's elite troops who train constantly to make every burst count.

My heart skipped a beat. Now I can finally use this weapon! :wizard:

Pretty excited all around. Will be getting both and enjoying them. I'm always down for more Mass Effect.

This is fantastic news. Leviathan DLC sounds great and I look forward to some more light being shed on the Reapers.

Giving us the pre-order bonus weapons and multiplayer add-ons is like a wild kiss on the fans' lips.

Take my money; I don't want it.

Awesome. It'll match my Cerberus Shock Trooper armour. Now, if only the helmet could be removed during conversations...

I'm predicting that the "new areas on the Citadel" are basically one or two rooms Shepard is contacted and asked to meet someone or obtain data from within; one-timers like some of the other Citadel missions. It's not what we want, but it's more likely.

Still... you never know. It'd be nice to be wrong about that.

First thing that popped into my head when I read that was remembering that supposed side-mission on the Citadel involving someone sabotaging Keepers, which was mentioned in the leaked beta script but got cut from the final game.
Yeah, kind of a long-shot, but it'd be cool to see that get put back into the game, I thought. :?

And no one got my "Hodor" reference...

No one gets my references :crying:

But to be fair, dry humour doesn't work that well on text.

From the kotaku article it seems to be a 3 hour DLC with 3 main combat missions.
Sounds like fun!

Well lets break down somethign here

The Firefight Pack includes the following weapons:

Indra Sniper Rifle: Fully automatic sniper rifle.

The Indra's low-powered scope leaves it most effective at medium range, but many soldiers believe this limitation is offset by the gun's rapid rate of fire. The Indra is the first military-grade, fully automatic sniper rifle. It has an extremely efficient heat-sink system that allows a surprisingly large number of shots to be fired before the weapon ejects its thermal clip.
This weapons above you already coudl have gotten for FREE from a website and I think they still have codes.

Krysae Sniper Rifle: Heavy turian sniper rifle with explosive rounds and an automatic scope for all-range fighting.

This turian antimateriel rifle is modified to kill Reaper enemies. The Krysae's scope uses a rangefinder that adjusts to keep the target in proper proportion to the shooter, which comes in useful when the sniper is forced into close range. Its specialized ammunition is both armor-piercing and explosive. In a desperate move, the turians released its specifications over the extranet so that nearly anyone with a fabricator could manufacture this weapon to help the war effort.
Reegar Carbine: Quarian electrical weapon that's best at close range.

This electrical weapon improves upon the arc pistol's design by generating a sustained current on its target. This weapon is named for the quarian Reegar family, whose marines have served valiantly against the geth.
Harrier Assault Rifle: Full-auto Cerberus rifle with low recoil and heat generation.

These Cerberus-modified Mattock rifles are fully automatic. Cerberus gunsmiths reined in the recoil issues, resulting in a gun that stays on target but delivers slightly less punch per round than a standard Mattock. As such, the weapon is typically utilized by Cerberus's elite troops who train constantly to make every burst count.
Geth SMG: Fully-automatic geth submachine gun. Its rate of fire increases when the trigger is held.

This submachine gun works on the same principles as the Spitfire: it shoots superconducting toroids that break apart on impact, retaining an electrical charge that flash-converts the shrapnel into plasma. Unlike the Spitfire, however, this smaller geth weapon has been modified to take thermal clips. Holding down the trigger speeds up its rate of fire, rapidly depleting the gun’s heat sink in exchange for nearly continuous fire.
All good weapons to try in SP from MP dlcs

Blood Pack Punisher SMG: Submachine gun with a secondary barrel that fires armor-piercing rounds.

The Punisher features a secondary barrel that fires one armor-piercing round per main-barrel burst. It was developed by Blood Pack gunsmiths who found that their vorcha recruits frequently forgot to optimize ammo loads in the heat of combat. This configuration makes the process automatic and highly effective at penetrating armor.
Adas Anti-Synthetic Assault Rifle: Electrical weapon that's effective against shields and synthetic targets.

Named in memory of the quarians killed in the Morning War on the planet Adas, this weapon's electrical attack has been optimized for medium- to long-range firefights. Alliance marines take issue with calling it a "rifle" since, technically, it has no rifling in its barrel. The quarians shrug this off, as quarian weapon terminology rarely translates flawlessly into human languages.
Are these two New?

slenderman

That was exactly what I was thinking...  O_O

Also, I might actually buy ME3 for the Wii U since they actually at least put a backstory into it as well as implanted DLC.  I saw a pic of the Wii U Gamepad and if I am correct, there isn't going to be a freeze time weapon/power wheel, meaning all of your strategies would be on the fly.  That could actually get pretty chaotic IMO and might prove to be a greater challenge.  The presentation for Mass Effect 3 was interesting and I am just hyped for the future DLC coming out.

EDIT: I finally am going to get a chance to use the Cerebrus Harrier for SP, although I probably would run out of ammo quickly with it. :S

Here's hoping we end up with more than a simple War Asset. It'd be awesome if this DLC let a certain someone clear their throat and interject during the final conversation, maybe introduce a new variable to the ending..? (Being as vague as I possibly can. Pretty please don't banhammer me my fair moderators!)

Explaining even more about The Reapers. Yep... still haven't learned I see. Bad enough you revealed quarians and already said too much about them in those stupid endings (not that the explanation made any kind of logical sense at all), and now we get more over-explanation that should remain a mystery. The Reapers already seem neutered enough, do we really have to take any last remaining remains of mystery away entirely now and rob them of any menace entirely?

Will anything in this DLC I do matter? Will we even get dialogue choices? Or is this more of the tired same weaksauce drivel that most of ME3 was outside of Rannoch and Tuchanka? Just more cases of only two dialogue options, loads of autodialogue, and a mission that's only real outcome is to make that same stupid number bigger.
