I do not quite follow why the pack does not contain all the goodies already released for MP...

Concerning the Leviathan, let us see whether that will be able to incite my interest in the single-player again...if the Leviathan could have its take on the thing at the very end, and a meaningful one, chances might be just that much greater.

I understand why you would buy extra weapons to use in ME2, which only had about ten weapons at launch. For ME3 it's just not worth it.

Figured they wouldnt just allow MP weapons in SP.  You have to purchase them with RL cash just like they want you to purchase them for MP too!

No if it was the 7th for Leviathan too they'd have said so instead of just "later this summer".

Hmm, my money is on this being very similar to the last DLC for ME2 where you had to blow up the huge Mass Relay.

Watch the Leviathan turn out to be the prototype Reaper, that the Reapers imprisoned because its more of a threat to the Galaxy than the 'cycle'.

$5 says Shepard ends up helping the Reapers fight it or some bull like that.

Squadmates had lines in 'From Ashes', so its a safe bet they'll have lines in this.

The text files pulled from the Extended Cut included a lot of lines of dialog that clearly were intended to be attributed to different squad members. It's -possible- they might just be e-mails or such, but I'd like to hope they're actually voiced.
