Two reasons could make me get the DLC:
1) If it affects the ending in any way, other than additional war assets.
2) If the reviews / players feedback say it's at least as good as the LotSB DLC from ME2.
Otherwise I simply won't buy it.
You and me both.
Actually that's funny how many people right now is screaming OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! DLC!!!!!!!!! IM GONNA BUY DAT DLC COZ ITZ AWESUM! And how they were excited few months ago. Impressive
Stay calm people.
I would gladly pay for some Main mission extended pack DLC instead of Leviathan ( imagine Thessia's mission or Palaven's would look like Tuchanka's or Rannoh's). They should improve and expand London mission. That would be worth my money. <_<
Journal fix dlc FTW

It looks interesting though, so I'll read up on it or something, but I won't DL it as it really doesn't matter.

Not everyone is "hatin'' on it.Revenant24 wrote...
Why is everyone hating on this DLC so much? It's what people have been asking for instead of multiplayer DLC, and now that they have announced it you all threaten to ignore it? Make up your damn minds!
There are those who do like it for what it is; additional context into the ME universe.
And there are those that feel it does not help the destination of the game (which is important to them) and thus, is not the DLC they had wanted.

That their are many and different opinions on the matter.

I for am not hating. I am just very dubious about it and fearful it is going to be an abomination.

Not hate, just utter disinterest. Because in the end, it's not going to change Shepard's fate.

This. And a Fewer Autodialoge dlc and a Weapon Holster dlc.
About the Leviathan: So, it's basically the "Origin of the Reapers" story. In a DLC. Great work. I'll pass.

I will buy it and play it day one. If it is bad I'll cry out here and on Gamefaqs, but I don't feel I have the riight to praise it or put it down if I don't even play it.

I've never asked for this actually so don't be rude. Are we not allowed to dislike this DLC? That's interesting.
You see some of people here have different priorities, personally I'd like to see expanded main missions instead of this new dlc but what can I do? I can still see potential in this game. Rannoh and Tuchanka are fine examples. Imagine 3-part main mission on Thessia or Palaven or even 5-part final mission (final mission deserve that complexity. There would be a lot of opportunities to use squadmates from ME 2 etc.
Wait I can do one thing. I can say to you: make up your mind!

Who cares?!? I for one am happy to just be able to play something new as Shepard. Couldn't give two ****s whether or not it'll change the ending. It has already been set in stone, they aren't changing the ending, deal with it.

I just don't get the point behind spending time and money on a DLC that, in the end, will not change a damn thing. BioWare has shown us firsthand how useless war assets are. I'm not falling for this trap again. It is DLC's like this, and our decision to ignore them, that a firm message can finally be sent to BioWare in a way that they will understand.
If you still don't like the ending, stop supporting BioWare's endeavors with this game. Period. Speaking with your wallet is the only way they will understand that they f'd up big time.
Am I mad? Certainly. I'm mad because I still feel like BioWare ruined my favorite franchise of all time in the last 15 minutes of ME3. Some of you may have allowed time to lessen your stance against BioWare. As for me, I still hold the line.

Some will like the DLC for what it is, others won't.

It sounds really interesting to me and I am cautiously optimistic that it will go beyond just giving you another single mission to complete, as suggested by the further uncharted worlds, things added to Citadel etc.

I care. What you care about is not my concern. You wanted to know why people aren't excited about the dlc, and I answered.
Deal with it.
