Why is everyone hating on this DLC so much? It's what people have been asking for instead of multiplayer DLC, and now that they have announced it you all threaten to ignore it? Make up your damn minds!

Not hate, just utter disinterest.  Because in the end, it's not going to change Shepard's fate.

Who cares?!? I for one am happy to just be able to play something new as Shepard. Couldn't give two ****s whether or not it'll change the ending. It has already been set in stone, they aren't changing the ending, deal with it.

And you've just answered your own question. Other people care, apparently, hence the response on the thread.

Some will like the DLC for what it is, others won't.

And there lies my problem, people already don't like it without even playing it.

I will buy it and play it day one. If it is bad I'll cry out here and on Gamefaqs, but I don't feel I have the riight to praise it or put it down if I don't even play it.

Good for you. It's nothing wrong with that. I'm glad a lot of people can still enjoy playing that game ;) But some people see problem with that final chapter. We may have a different opinions but we should respect each other. Imo ME3 deserve better. I don't mind that new DLC but i have different priorities.

Yup, because others would like the DLC to address other things that were important to them.  Additional mid-game content isn't on that agenda so it falls into the "do not like" bucket.

If the DLC has consequences and affects the ending in the way WE THE PLAYERS want, yeah sure I might buy it. If it doesn't, yeah...YouTube :D

Will buy all Mass Effect related DLC to support Bioware for giving me the greatest gaming trilogy to enjoy. So yes, definitely buying.

The weapon pack is a joke though. You gotta be hardcore or just an idiot to waste even two measly dollars on it. Come on, you can already get those weapons in MP and those should be free for SP. EAware is basically making you pay for two new weapons and access to content you already have.

Eh...in my opinion ME3 just doesn't have enough traction in SP to pull me into buying SP DLC. Why should I be interested in SP DLC when the ending of the trilogy is already set.

It will probably be YouTube for me to check the high-lights...or low-lights...

I'm more of the mind that I already have every weapon I need from the SP campaign.  MP weapons are nice-to-haves and don't really add much value for me.

Why is that your problem? Also no hate, as mentioned people are just not interested. It might be fun to play and a good distraction but if it doesn't add to the whole galactic conflict in some way other than just a 100-500 point war asset what's the point?

See, unless Bioware decides to completely change the mechanics of this game, the only result of these DLC packs will be more War Assets and EMS points. Is that REALLY something you want to spend money on?

I'll buy this and any other DLC they come out with the instant they come out. For me, the result of the DLC is more time spent in one of my favorite games, experiencing a great story. And that is what I want to spend my money on.

Bring on the DLC, Bioware!

People were asking for removal of the crazy holographic Artificial Idiot and for some ending which would make a f***ing sence, not ruining previous ME experience (you know, thrilling space-opera action-movie blockbuster about unity despite differences and overcoming impossible odds). Instead, EAware had "extended" existing pile of sh*t as an answer for those pleas (Yes, I know that most of the current BSN populace like or pretend to like the EC - I don't care, EC is not what we've asked for) adding an "You don't like our artistic integrity? F U! Rocks fall, everyone dies" option for lulz in a process. They don't deserve a benefit of doubt.

What was the point of Kasumi, BtdS, Overlord, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar....

Now if you say there was no point and all those DLCs were worthless too, you'd be consistent.

This is really it - I mean, this is really our chance to put our money where our outrage is. If it doesn't change the endings, I won't buy it ... the DLC could blow LotSB out of the water in terms of gameplay and content, but if it doesn't change the endings (which fundamentally is the biggest issue with ME3 in my opinion), then I don't want to waste my time

Because I knew at that point that completing Overlord would only result in cameo appearances, same with Kasumi. With Mass Effect 3 I know how it ends and unless I'm adding something positive to that lore, I'm not interested.

Also the thing with consistency, people change. My opinions have changed since those dlc's two years ago. Deal with it. I'm not here to be a consistent sheep, I'm here to observe and learn.
