Souvereign states: "every reaper, each a nation... also beyond your (human) comprehension.!"
So it would be stupid to assume, that a short Q&A with the star child would suffice to explain the nature of the subject.

For example, he says: "Reapers are my solution. I control them."
Yet he does not state the nature of his control, it might be direct, or indirect. Is he giving them orders like a commander in charge, or does he remind them of their task they have been created to acomplish?
I got the feeling reaper have their own conscience and make their own decisions, so its a mix of both.

/edit: i said starchild, didnt I? It's the catalyst messing with derp shepards mind.

The word 'control' has some implied meaning here that a lot of people just gloss over - that's what bothers me about the dialogue. Some claim that they're all just a victim of their programming, and that the Catalyst doesn't control them. Well, then he should not say the words "I CONTROL THEM." If you can't tell them to stop, you don't control them; if you can't direct their strategy and tactics you don't control them; if you can't tell them to do any damn thing then you do not control them. This is not a difficult concept to grasp

"Even though the Starchild shed some (very dim) light on the Reaper's origins - this DLC is going to give us a much wider insight on their origins."
