My reactions:
First, it was meh.
Then it showed squadmates and I got a little interested.
And then "You have come too far" and my avatar represents my mind.
A reaper saying "You have come too far" blew your mind? You must have crapped yourself everytime Harbinger said something in ME2.

Awesome! More Mass Effec 1 plot invalidation. Sure could've used your hyper useful team of researchers when I was chasing Saren.
Also, "looking to get even with the monster who killed my father." Really. You're going to carry a grudge against a ****ing Reaper? If that line of dialogue is about Leviathan then seriously, what the hell. Rofl. I wonder what Shepard's going to tell that woman. "Try to think of the Reapers as a fire. They're not at war with you!". Haha.

My first reaction based on trailer only is "meh". They show nothing more but lots of pew-pew. I know it's supposed to be a side mission, so not much dialogues, but I still didn't get anything from this trailer rather than it will be a lot of shooting.
There was a Kodiak sliding along a deck! Oh my god! Don't you feel the tension?

It's says coming summer but summer is over pretty soon
As far as my education taught me in the past, autumn doesn't start until the 21st of September - Meaning the Northern hemisphere will be able to enjoy their summer for well over another month. Plenty of time to release DLC.
I'm personally really looking forward to playing this DLC. Can't wait for it! =) Might even do a new replay of the game to get back into it again.

Seems needless now the story is wrapped up; its not going to add any huge revelations etc
Then I guess the extended editions of the LotR trilogy were needless too because they didn't provide any huge revelations like Sauron being Luke's father. *sarcasm* While the trailer doesn't blow my mind, I was intrigued by the water world and the Reaper speaking at the end. I'm interested in story DLC that can shed some light on the origins of the Reapers.

No, it crashed couple of times before. Besides, it's not like anybody is going die because of that right before the Earth mission.

Or maybe the majority simply was unimpressed? The trailer looks extremely generic with its "you killed my father, prepare to die" nonsense and it doesn't gel well with the rest of the story.shepdog77 wrote...

I seriously wonder about decisionmaking at Bioware. I mean ME3's plot was the schoolbook definition of generic and uninspired, and with the first chance they get to truly show they learned from their errors they go with the "a reaper killed my father" angle. I mean, really. Come on now.
They either don't want to make money or think we're dumb enough to shell out anyway.

I'm excited to get to know the Reapers, and to be WORKING with one. The trailer obviously couldn't have shown much, because it's obivous that there's going to be lots of exciting bits in this DLC they want to keep as a surprise.
I'm looking forward to giving Bioware my money for this, I have about 70% faith in them. I've gotten over the endings and realised that Mass Effect 3 is 99% a fantastic game. The Mass Effect universe and trilogy is my favourite ANYTHING. EVER. I have faith in Bioware with this, I hope they take it in the right direction.
