Don't you have anything to do than bash a character? And I too paid 80 bucks for the Game, but you don't see me whining here or saying that i paid 80 bucks for the game. And did you know you can have the choice to not talk to her or not bring her on a mission. Im sure you didn't, at this point you are just typing and hitting enter.

Yep, too bad I can't bring ME2 characters to be fried by Harbinger! But no matter, they already died in the suicide mission.

I don't like how Bioware made her the "Poster-child" for ME3. She's one of the more bland squadmates, especially in her voice acting.

If you have to give us an Asari, give me my Samara back. Also, Zaeed can tag along in the Life Support room.

I must confess that I never liked her. Oh, sure, I still chose her over her daughter the psychotic serial killer, and I even put an effort into NOT getting her killed (as I'm not one of those semi-sociopathic players who want to see characters they dislike wind up dead at the earlierst opportunity).

But seriously, the fact that she'd feel COMPELLED to kill herself by her stupid code pretty much encapsulates everything that has been disgusting me about her ever since ME2.

Liara plays a most crucial role since ME1.

We've obviously been playing different games. What exactly did she do in ME3, besides stalk my Shepard and constantly invite herself into my cabin. What vital information, as Shadow Broker, did she provide? Seriously, after Mars, nothing she did had any relevance whatsoever.

This. So much. I hated that she was the one squadmate who got the most screentime (James going back to the shuttle to make room for Liara on Mars, the VS getting shafted for the entire first part of the game, at the end of which they can die, the time capsule scene, the creepy bonding before the final run, need I go on?).

Again; isn´t it better to wish more material for said squadies instead of wanting less content for another??

Yep.. THATS the problem. U didnt like some of the ME2 characters. But u were not forced to have a conversation or interact with them every time.. With liara, people that dont like her, didnt have the option to NOT interact with her. They were obligated to do so...

Yes I was. I was forced to talk to Jacob everytime I recruited someone, I had to deal with their daddy issues or personal problems so no one died, I had to recruit Tali to get an upgrade. In fact I had to do this stuff and even put up with characters I didn't like for over 15 minutes. 

Let's also not forget the fact that if i did talk to Jacob my Shepard osunded liek she was in heat and broke so much immersion it was not even funny.

*shudders* Yes, I detested that too. Had to reload a couple of times simply because i thought my Shep was now in a romance with Jacob:?

Im certain you will be able to choose your own squad. Liara is just Bioware's 'Screen Girl' which is why they used her.

LOTSB. That was ment to be part of the game but was cut. Bioware comfirmed that. So Liara fans had to pay more money to get what they where promnissed and to get proper romance continuation as her "romance" in base ME2 was just as bad as Thanes continuation in ME3. You know, awkward kiss, feeling of distance, no acheivment and the overall feeling these two characters where not a couple, except Thane did not give you 500 extra credits and dies instead.

No, nowhere near as bad as Thane's romance "continuation". Liara cannot die. Ever. Even the reapers cannot kill her.

Thane romancers just got a double finger salute from bioware and that was it.

She can´t?? Then that gif someone posted a few pages back must have been a fake.

Don't worry, it'll be alright, you'll be able to pick whoever you want to come with you, if you want to leave Liara on the ship, you can do that.

Okay, people are seriously complaining about this?

Liara is simply a "poster character" used for the sake of advertising convenience in trailers and posters, much like the default MaleShep. Sure, it may confuse me as I'm not a big fan of Liara and every time I see default MaleShep I'm thinking "Who's this clown? Shepard's a woman, as far as I'm concerned". Still, I can't see Bioware's marketing department having the budget to make a trailer to cover every possible combination of squadmates and Shepard appearances out there, so I'm not going to hold it against them to focus on one or two "poster children".
