Everyone:

After have gone to bed to wake up to see where this thread had gone, I see half (not all) Liara fans have completely missed my Original Intent of this Thread.

Therefore, I’m willing to continue this thread with open discussion on the condition: Intelligence & Maturity will be shown. The Liara Extremists have not shown this, so I’ll continue to completely ignore their irrational views. They have shown themselves to be bigots. I have not the time to respond to a worthless cause. There’s many more on this thread who also  gave support of my view. I’m just going to
name a few shout outs.

I persionally do not mind Liara being in promo material. Liara is a squaddie like everyone else and the ads and screenies to get everyone exicted are seperate from the game itself.

I will say, however, I am tired of Liara getting a lot of the spotlight. She is forced on three missions; Maene, Eden Prime, Mars, and Thessia. She visits Shepard twice in the middle of the night for no particular reason. And she also hits on Shepard regardless of the prior times telling her 'No' which is annoying to say the least.

Outside of that, I also noticed that she gets the huge role of Shadow Broker. I have no fault with her getting the role as LotSB was an awesome DLC. I do have issue with her doing nothing with that role what so ever in the game series. You never get a moment where you go 'Wow. If you hadn't gotten that role of Shadow Broker, I would have been royally screwed. Thank you Liara.'

we need more Batarians. Arrival & Bringing Down the Sky were very good. I like Batarians, very cruel but interesting race. Like Harbinger, want more understanding of them.

Honnestly i would like even to have more conversations with the plumber of ME2 than more conversation with liara..

By the way, did you know you can press spacebar to skip dialogue? If you close your eyes and press it fast enough you won't see any conversations at all. I found it extremely handy when I played.

I want to clear this up. You can't skip through all of Liara's forced dialogue. Some, yes. Enough, no. I've tried and my spacebar paid the price.

The first thing Thane says to Shepard in ME2 is "I'm dying."

Thanemancers need to stop crying about how Bioware killed off their space boyfriend. You were told he was going to die from the first time you meet him.

Don't like having a LI that is dying? Choose Kaidan or Garrus.

Because people can't stand the fact that their space boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't get the attention Liara does. And that is the dumbest reason I've seen to hate a character yet, right beside Talihaters claiming they dislike Tali because of her rabid fanbase.

they (and elcor) were an interesting species that would have been neat to see more of in ME3.
