I agree with the OP on this one, we don't need more Liara content shoved down our throats if it can be avoided.

I didn´t know. I only knew that we are bigots and (according to another poster, whose name I thankfully don´t remember) sadists who revel in the sight of people dying in car crashes..

Wow two to three missions means that a character is forced. And how many Main missions does ME3 have... 19 missions. In Mars, because she is a prothean expert. In Thessia, because is her homeworld. And(From Ashes), because she is a prothean expert.

Menae dosen't count shes your only other squad mate at that point

You're missing the point, other characters are forced for missions too

The times that a character is needed for a mission is because that character is needed. In Mars Liara is needed, because she is a prothean expert and knows where the crucible is. In Thessia, because is her homeworld. Eden prime only counts if you have From Ashes and again, because she is a prothean expert. Menae doesn't coun, because you have two characters to begin the game.

I am not. How many others are required for 4 missions? Regardless of whether you have other options (i.e. doing Eden Prime before Menae). Once you've picked up Garrus, how many missions do you have to take him on? Tali? Oh, wait, they can be dead, you don't have to do anything with them. EDI? One mission at the end of the game. Vega? Mars and Menae. The VS? Mars, and then they are removed up until the second act at which point they can die.

And, in addition to 4 missions, how many of them waltz up to your Shepard's room with no option for you to tell them to go away?

1. makes no  sense seeing as it's not a prothean archive, and she's not a prothean expert
2. I mean yeah, not like that was a prothean capsule with anoprothean in it was it.
3. Doesn't she go back to the ship leaving you with Garrus and vega??
4. Not like it's her home planet, so she has no knowledge of the temple or anything...

Exactly and for being the Shadow Broker, shes terrible at the job.

Liara is not needed for Menae if you have Javik, yet Javik is grayed out to prevent you from picking him. Liara is not needed to be physically present on Eden Prime/Mars, she could just communicate over a comm. And if I can kill Liara's mother without Liara being present (and always do), I can go through her homeworld without her as well. I'm not arguing whether Liara fits in the missions, I'm arguing it could have been set up in such a way that you could have chosen your own squad.
