You're missing the point, other characters are forced for missions too

But not as many missions as Liara has add that to the fact that alot of your cutscenes in ME3 involve her in someway, its understandable why some don't like all the content Liara already has in ME3. Why add more.

Why add more? You mean by adding a couple of screenshots were the squad member is optional?

I mean why add more missions where Liara is a forced squadmate that'll tick alot of fans off. I apologize for any confusion.

well for the Mars and Menae missions she is the only squad member available if you didn't buy the dlc

1. makes no  sense seeing as it's not a prothean archive, and she's not a prothean expert
2. I mean yeah, not like that was a prothean capsule with anoprothean in it was it.
3. Doesn't she go back to the ship leaving you with Garrus and vega??
4. Not like it's her home planet, so she has no knowledge of the temple or anything...

Again, why are people moaning??

I guess people just don't like the fact that she's a main character in ME3.  I think she's great, LI or not, but some people are just not down with the blue.

That, and her fans seem to thing that comparing her situation in ME2 to the characters in ME3 is somehow even remotely similar.

yeah It's like the Deomocrats vs the Republicans in this Thread

And not to mention that the exact same subject has been brought up a doesn´t times already in the past few months.
Maybe consider posting in those threads instead??

Yes, but it's better to have more of one character than another. If BW made DLC centered around Wrex in which he is the only possible squaddie you would hear no complaints from me.

Sorry to interrupt the Brain's Trust here, but has anybody pointed out to our illustrious OP and similarly inclined people that Liara is a completely optional squad member in this DLC? Just like she is for literally every mission apart from Mars, Eden Prime and Thessia?

There's a gameplay video floating around with Garrus and James as the henchmen of choice for Leviathin. They have unique dialogue for the mission as does every other selectable squadmate. So jumping up and down on the 'I Hate Liara' bandwagon is showing nothing but ignorance.

I am not. How many others are required for 4 missions? Regardless of whether you have other options (i.e. doing Eden Prime before Menae). Once you've picked up Garrus, how many missions do you have to take him on? Tali? Oh, wait, they can be dead, you don't have to do anything with them. EDI? One mission at the end of the game. Vega? Mars and Menae. The VS? Mars, and then they are removed up until the second act at which point they can die.

And, in addition to 4 missions, how many of them waltz up to your Shepard's room with no option for you to tell them to go away?

Exactly and for being the Shadow Broker, shes terrible at the job.

In all fairness Twilight is not as bad as some make it out to be. I like it though I do admit that I am not a fan of the last of the 4 books.

Doesn´t a fanbase usually consist of people loving the subject in question??
Twilight has a craptastic story and characters, but it still doesn´t change the fact that many people love those books and films.

i'll repeat from my past comments I left from others.

I orignally wanted this thread to be seen by Bioware to show that there's many Liara  & non-liara fans, who want more content giving to other characters now. Liara fans should be happy. I know if Wrex was given as much content as Liara, I assume You and others would express frustrations....also. The situation would be vice/versa

But, this thread wasn't to show Show hatred to Liara. If I wanted to do that be sure this thread would have been locked.

Tali is quite popular, especially if you look at the amount of pages her thread has garnered over at the romance discussion. But if you look at polls Liara tends to show up as one of the most popular characters/LI´s (however that may be more due to the fact that she can be romanced by both Shepards, and as such have more fans from both sides of the fence).

Anyway, it´s difficult to discern who is the most popular one..
