It certainly seems that way, but I don't think this is an example of them shoving her down our throats anymore than it's an example of them shoving Sheploo down our throats. He's in most of their advertisements and screenshots, too.

You're right.  Hey, since we're just making stuff up, I can't think of any two squadmates that are around for all three games. 

If the VS got their "own" DLC, would there be threads about them, I wonder.

You're right.  Hey, since we're just making stuff up, I can't think of any two squadmates that are around for all three games.

Making what up exactly? besides you trying to explain your lack luster point. Everywhere i look, its Liara Liara Liara. Less Liara and more everyone else would have been a lot better. Most ME2 L.I's got royally shafted. yet bware had to find a way to keep Liara around. They always do

Do me a favor and put me in my place.  Go tally everyones conversation/appearance time over the entire series.  Really.  I want to see just how much Liara blows away everyone else.  Don't skip lines, use all the dialogue options.  Please.  I'd love to see this.

If that's too much work, feel free to compare her to Garrus and Tali.  Unless your lackluster points are based on advertising screenshots... because as much as you can't stand her, you seem to be very interested in the ME series, so I'd say their marketing is working.

all the ME2 squad members and L.I's are great. To bad we don't get half of them on our ship for ME3, but Liara managed to move the entire shadow broker operation's center into her bedroom on the normandy. Just so we can have the pleasure of having her as a squad member again
