I don't have one, but you can add me to your friend's list and we can gossip as to why Miranda is better in PM.

PS: She's better.

I'd say she's a pretty good product of artistic integrity.

Again, I'd like to reference comparative shot analysis and the West's inability to deal with sexuality but I won't derail the thread.

Light Armor on females in ME1 looks pretty much like a cat suit to me.

I like Miranda a lot. She's an Established Woman. I did an entire playthrough with her. LI also. It's too bad she was...neglected in ME3. The whole Oriana story in ME3........was not too excited IMO.

I perferred if Miranda just was on my team...then again I wish a lot of ME2 (including Wrex) was on my team lol

Wow. If things like this in a videogame irritates you, I don't even want to know what grinds your gears in real life man.

>implying that just because its a videogame i should be totally fine with absolutely everything even if it irritates the crap out of me when i'm trying to enjoy said videogame. Let me guess, you don't have an issue with what the new Tomb Raider is doing to Lara Croft.

I have these things called standards, you should probably have some too since you're dancing to the industry's fiddle.

Well, that's more the fault of the players, really.

Noting that Liara is pandering to a male audience whom think with the heads in their pants, and refusing to accept it, is a fault on my part?

No, I'm not saying that you have to be fine with everything, but if every little problems make the game intolerable to you, then perhaps you should just stop playing. No one's making you play the game. If the game is not enjoyable anymore, then just stop and do something else.

Also, the world does not revolve around you as you might think. Sometimes your standards are not met. So when that happen, you stay away and refuse to buy any of the products that the companies might offer. It's really not that hard.

For example, I don't like Lara Croft so I'm not going to buy the game. See? Simple. I'm not dancing to anybody's fiddle. I can't dance anyway.

The statement was ment to the players themselves they can't understand another race or aliens losing their planet because us the humans in real life have never lost ours or been through the pain she is going through mid game that is why they can't understand and make certain judgements or assumptions even though they never experienced or been through it it is the same stuff we do in reality we judge things and say certain things without ever experiencing them ourselves before we open our mouths or make quick judgements.

People weren't talking about "in reality" though, they were talking about within the lore of the game.

The point is they're making rash judgements of a alien or another people losing their planet even though it is a game they've never experienced that pain themselves therefore they don't have the right to make such judgements when they do not even understand

I think you're misunderstanding something. We, the players, may not have experience with losing our own planet (but I'm sure some here experienced other terrible things), but Shepard has. Shepards planet is overrun by reaper forces, right from the beginning. So Shepard should be able to call Liara out on it.

Then so should liara since her own world is being taken over by the reapers she should be able to call him or her out on it just as much as shepard can vice versa

I've always been confused by the portion of anti-Liara argument focusing on her response to Thessia's being overrun. She was there to provide comfort to Shepard and Garrus when their homes were overrun, or shortly after, it seemed fair enough that others would do the same for her.

But I guess not.

Hiring a voice actress that can actually convey some emotion would have probably helped me feel more sympathetic
