But you either get one or the other; they fill the role of the VS. It's not the same. They are an available squadmate in ME3 along with Garrus,Tali, Edi, and James.

The other characters are off doing their own thing. Yes, I would love more DLC for the ME2 cast, but that's not what this one is. It doesn't mean it won't be coming. We should just keep asking for it.

I don't think LotSB was created over fan outcry. In fact, I severely doubt it, considering the mission was dummied out of the game proper.

And to be frank, the VS' cameo was far worse, and far more nonsensical.

A lot of Liara fans were disappointed after her short and badly written role in ME 2, and that disappointment was voiced in the forums too. But usually not in the form of diminishing other characters.

I for one hope that Liara will play an important role in that DLC, as do many others, if the various statistics mean anything.

Don't remind me of the double standards of how certain can be dead characters are treated and how people who murder all their me2 squaddies get rewarded whilst those that keep them alive get shafted.

Shiala was much more instrumental than Liara in that one. Also, Liara helping him has nothing to do with her per se, rather with her being only Asari on the ship

It was Liara-Cerberus-Shadow Broker Agent joint operation orchestrated by TIM. Although, to be honest, Liara played the most crucial part maybe.

In ME 1, Tali is much more lore-important than Liara considering what she brings to the table.

On topic of the screenshots.
They are just it. It is a screenshot of Liara. There is a video of Garrus and EDI. Guess what, they are ME 3 squaddies and it really shouldn't be surprising they are in the promotional for ME 3 DLC.

Liara's the only one guaranteed to be alive in ME3. If you have to make *one* promotional image, you can either pick one of the new people (Vega, EDI) or Liara. Duh. [Both seem even less popular than Liara]

These people don't care about you or your feelings, as long as they get what they want.

They're the kind of sadistic leeches who enjoy the sight of someone, say, dying in a car accident, as long as it doesn't affect them. They'll laugh along the sidelines until it's their turn to suffer.
