Liara is my canon LI and the saves where my male Shep stayed faithful to her are my favorite imports.

But, I've also imported saves where Shep stayed faithful to Ash.

Haven't imported my saves with Miranda and Tali as LI yet, as I don't like how late you get Tali in the game and Miranda got very poor treatment as a LI.

Anyway, we must all respect others choices as their canon LI and favorite characters. Let's not do the "deal with it" posts and so forth. Just think if your favorite got the shaft in ME 3.

We must respect others choices if we expect them to respect ours.

I'm just hoping this new DLC gives more dialog for all the LI characters and that the dialog is different if the character is a LI or not. There wasn't enough exclusive dialog for any of the LI in the main game.

well, in ME2 Samara IMO was very interesting. it's ME3 where............i found her the most dull character. It's the same thing with Ash in ME1. Ashley IMO was my Girl. My Woman lolB)

No, but the actual new characters in the DLC, one of which appears in the trailer, are new.

We've obviously been playing different games. What exactly did she do in ME3, besides stalk my Shepard and constantly invite herself into my cabin. What vital information, as Shadow Broker, did she provide? Seriously, after Mars, nothing she did had any relevance whatsoever.

In one of my playthroughs she´s responsible for the next cycle defeating the reapers....just saying.

Not to mention...my Shepards will always be thankful to her for giving them another shot at life.
If she hadn´t Shep would never have had the chance to meet such illustrious characters like Mordin, Legion, Grunt, Jack, Kasumi, Thane, Miranda, Samara, Jacob, Zaeed, Javik, EDI, TIM...should I go on?...

Honest question from someone who has no particular attachment to Liara one way or another:

Why can't you make a thread pointing out that there are other squadmates that you would prefer to get attention from the developers WITHOUT ripping apart one of the squadmates who is getting the attention?

Why can't you say "We want more Miranda/Wrex/Jack/Jac... well no, nobody wants more Jacob" without saying "OMFG LIARA SUCKS ENOUGH OF HER"?

samara also gave birth to morinth who also was more interesting then liara was in all 3 games. Ash was my fave aswell so at least i got some satisfaction out of ME3. Shame she doesnt join the squad untill halfway through the game yet liara

Liara is very important character in ME trilogy, especially ME3. Liara is alive. This DLC is about discovering ancient knowledge and she is both an archaeologist and Shadow Broker. It makes perfect sense to use Liara in the trailer.
