10 bucks for a war asset...fan feedback and youtube is what i'll do

You're a moron, haha.

As though if nothing adds anything new to the last moments of the game, it no longer matters at all.

This game is about the journey. Which has been awesome straight through. Don't like the ending, or quantification of some of your choices in war assets? Cool story, but actually going through the journey is what matters. Not the end result, which in the end all of it doesn't mean anything because it's over anyway.

That's your interpretation. However, to some, and justifiably so, that "journey" people keep speaking of is like traveling a scenic route only to end up flying off a cliff to their doom. Or to put it more aptly, like a sour note in an otherwise grandiose orchestral piece: that one flawed moment, no matter how fleeting, becomes something almost impossible to ignore due to the standard set by the rest of the performance. Some people can stomach their distaste, while others can't because in essence the mission really doesn't matter; as far as we know, it doesn't provide a different means to stopping the Reapers, and will only count - most likely - toward a numerical system that only has peripheral importance overall.

Aside from the new content, it doesn't really hold much value story-wise. That doesn't mean that some of us won't be purchasing it - I will just to see more parts of the Citadel and the new weapons - of course, but it's far from simply being a "hata".

Yes, I will buy it, because I actually like playing ME3 and $10 really isn't that much money to me. I'd rather play it than watch it on youtube for the same reason I like to play all my games rather than watching someone else play them on youtube.

Since when this stopped being the norm and became some extravagance? "Look at this guy, he plays his games! By himself! He even sometimes enjoys it! What a freak!"

Unfortunately, this reminds me a lot of DA2's "Legacy" DLC and its weapon packs. One can only hope ME3 won't end up like DA2.

That's exactly what it is. A cash grab.

Well, I don't mind paying for DLC, but I find little value in a weapon pack.

That's the thing, it's entirely optional.

I'll personally buy it b/c I have the $$$ to spare, but I agree that it's superfluous.

Indeed, lets be real here. It really is only $2... The cost of a small morning coffee or a pack of gum. But it's the principle here that matters to me, not the money.

What did you expect? It takes effort to make DLC. MP DLC pays off via micro transactions, SP doesn't. So get over it. If you don't want to spend the money, don't. That's what you're entitled to as a customer.

For me this means, I'll be getting Leviathan DLC, but not the weapon pack.

You know what, I'm still buying it. I only have the argus, so having the indra, harrier, reegar, and the gun I really wanted the raider, plus the two others, seems like a fair deal to me.

I wonder if this DLC will be accessible after a certain point in the game or if we could just load up an assault Cerberus saved game and play it. I also wonder what it will change in the game as far as dialogues and character interaction, perhaps some plot points which might make the entire game worth playing another time through.

QFT, I'll buy story DLC, but I don't like buying extra weapons. So I won't. I won't complain about it, I'll just do it.

Not the end result, which in the end all of it doesn't mean anything because it's over anyway.

There was some study that showed the amount of people who can literally experience symptoms of depression after a long-running TV show ends. I wonder if that same effect happens to fans of Shepard's story which is now over. The endings were meh, but an entirely new attitude of "nothing matters now anyway 'cause it's over" is springing up. Get over it. Play it or don't, if all you care about is what the DLC adds to another portion of the game, or end result, then obviously you have no concept of absorbing anything meaningful from playing through the story and events yourself.

Now to continue hijacking this thread, BioWare has delivered some quality DLC recently so they can have my 10 dollars for this. I look forward to it.<3

Haters gonna hate, eff all that.

I don't care how good a 5 star meal is if at the end I have to eat a **** sandwich.
