10 bucks for a war asset...fan feedback and youtube is what i'll do
You're a moron, haha.
As though if nothing adds anything new to the last moments of the game, it no longer matters at all.
This game is about the journey. Which has been awesome straight through. Don't like the ending, or quantification of some of your choices in war assets? Cool story, but actually going through the journey is what matters. Not the end result, which in the end all of it doesn't mean anything because it's over anyway.
There was some study that showed the amount of people who can literally experience symptoms of depression after a long-running TV show ends. I wonder if that same effect happens to fans of Shepard's story which is now over. The endings were meh, but an entirely new attitude of "nothing matters now anyway 'cause it's over" is springing up. Get over it. Play it or don't, if all you care about is what the DLC adds to another portion of the game, or end result, then obviously you have no concept of absorbing anything meaningful from playing through the story and events yourself.
Now to continue hijacking this thread, BioWare has delivered some quality DLC recently so they can have my 10 dollars for this. I look forward to it.<3
Haters gonna hate, eff all that.
I don't care how good a 5 star meal is if at the end I have to eat a **** sandwich.
God you people and your "crappy" analogies. <_<
Ah yes. the "But it's about the journey, not the destination!" argument.
Commonly used by people in-denial or apologists. Or both...
It's very hard to "enjoy the journey" when you know the journey is going to end in a steaming pile of horse manure that is the ending. You won't be able to relax and focus on the good things. The journey, your mind, will be stained. Because you know whats coming, and it ain't good.
Much like I can imagine a prisoner on his way to prison has a hard time enjoying his journey over there no matter how beautiful the scenery is on the way.
If you like the ending or are "ok" with them then of course this isn't a issue for you, and it very easy to spurt out worn-out phrases like "it's about the journey..." without actually thinking it over.
But if you played Mass Effect for the story and hate the ending and think it ruined the story for any of the many many reasons people have stated, then the destination very much matter. Because it destroys what you played the game for. The story.
