Sometimes, though not often and usually after a game has been out for forever.

I can't remember how much it was originally but I got the Bring Down the Sky DLC for ME1 for like 80 points yesterday, and Pinnacle Station is still 400 points.

Rarely. On Xbox 360 at least.

Ugh.  Never really saw much value in 1/5-1/3rd the cost of the full game for less than 1/10 of the gameplay, hence why I asked about sale occurences.

Anyhow:
I'm among those obnoxious "fans" that no longer trust Bioware to make awesome stuff, and will be waiting for several not-paid-off reviews before I decide whether I get it or not, as well as at least a couple youtube videos of the gameplay, writing, etc..

I dont think so, not for a while a at least the trailer wasn't very interesting and never saw the point in gun packs. Yes its new content but we know it wont effect the ending and doesn't effect any characters I care a bout so I really don't see the point atm.
I may end up buying all the sp story dlc in one go. That is if they do any more, if this doesn't sell I would be surprised if they do many more. The EC would have cost a lot and if the initial DLC doesn't sell well I dont think EA will want to wast money on many more.

I have purchased every DLC BioWare has ever released, with the exception of Genesis, all the way back to the NWN premium modules (I got them all). I didn't have an issue with purchasing LotSB, because I was satisfied with ME2. I wanted more of it (even if that meant more Liara). And none of the DLC at that time was including extra squad content, so it wasn't something you could reasonably expect.

But I don't really care about ME3. I only want more time with my squad. If they give me that, I'm game. DA2 has shown how it's supposed to be done, and I expect this team to meet or exceed that standard.

If they don't give the squad new content, then they won't get my money anytime soon. I'll probably get all the single-player DLC eventually (if I ever go through the whole trilogy again), but it would probably be after the team has moved on and support for ME3 has ended (meaning it won't truly count for how they plan things in the future, and it won't count for whether the DLC is considered successful).
