If you don't want to buy it, that's fine. Your prerogative. An absolutely valid point to have.

Don't tell me what to do or what not to do. I'm an adult. 99.9% of the people on these forums are adults. We can make our own damn decisions.

For someone who claims to be an adult you're being pretty immature. Op didn't address you specifically. Op just poosted her/his opinion on a forum. Still you find it necessary to go out of your way to insult Op and everyone who agrees. The mature thing to do would be to completely ignore this topic. You see, every time someone comments (even if their comment is dissenting) it brings this thread to the top which helps keep it alive. It seems to me that an adult would realize this and take the higher ground.

I'm sorry, but where's the attack? ....because he said you had no self-control?

Not being sarcastic here, I really don't see it.

Honestly, I don't care if you buy it or not.  It won't affect my life at all.  So I say whatever your choice -who cares?

Ok OP. Your cry of outrage has convinced me. I won't buy it.

Nah I just kidden. I mean I still am not going to ever buy it, but you didn't convince me not to. I was already against it. Bioware has sold their soul to the EA devil. He's like the super devil, but WORSE. They focus on more crappy multiplayer expansions, give us a crap game that requires us to play their multiplayer in order to get the best ending, and lie to our faces that their product has features in it that the end product does not have. They convinced me not to buy it all on their own. And they have convinced a lot of others as well. It has taken too long for them to release this. There were people that refused to play the Extended cut because it came out too late after the release, even though it was FREE. I foresee terrible sales of this and future DLCs.

Following the Comic con booth on Mass Effect I decided to give up on all things Mass Effect. Except Tali. Cuz I do still love Tali. I love her soooooooooo much. :P

So if you disagree with a thread you should just ignore it?  If we did that then every thread would just be a one-sided crapfest.

I think SMW was simply saying that the Op didn't order people to not buy the DLC, he just asked them not to.  So throwing personal insults at him saying that he is telling them what to do is wrong because the Op isn't doing that.  The Op was merely expressing his opinion.  There are more mature ways to show you disagree with someone that don't involve insults.  Trust me, I know these things.  I'm 1/3 politician.  I know how to have a civil conversation with someone without insulting them.  On the flip side I also know how to do the opposite of that.  Being a politician is fun!  Until you sell your soul.

Well there's some truth to that, but his exact words were "the mature thing to do would be to completely ignore this topic," which isn't really true in my opinion.  I think the mature thing to do would be to express the opinion without using an insult.

It's a insult, an insult is a personal attack, in fact it's the base definition
of a personal attack. The fact that it is an insult about my personality derived from my opinion just add more merit to my claim.

I don't have a problem with disagreeing. My problem is the immediat insulting tone coming from someone who claims to be an adult. If they're truely an adult they should have the self controll to either discuss civilly or ignore.

The only problem with your complaint is that you yourself actually imply that you lack self controll in your original post.

I no longer have quarrel with Bioware.

Sure, ME3 was a little lazy, but the EC was an amazing apology. 1.9 gigs of free victory and closure.

I won't purchace this new DLC without any forethought, but it is not by any means out of the question.

As are the people already set on not buying it.

I most certainly am not. Last time I checked I was a polar bear.

This^...

There are the mainstream( casuall gamers) people who WILL buy it no matter what. Look at how many people play C.O.D. vs games like Skyrim.

Iam a gamer that is passionate about the lore and series as a whole and I will NOT take mediocre for a conclusion(not to mention a change in direction of story as well).

Bloody hell, I do don't I, however that still doesn't give you the right to use that as an insult and say that I have no self-control. If i'm being truthful I don't really care and was just meant to be more careful with what or how you write you're posts in the future so that someone doesn't do so.

We'll see about Leviathan, but I won't be buying the weapon pack. I always refuse to buy such things because it seems like a really cheap way to make a buck to me. This is especially true now that all those weapons were made in MP, and are just being added to SP.

Woah, were did all these ME3 supporters come from?!

Also, lol at the people who think they're better than other people just because they play Skyrim instead of COD.

As a responsible adult, consumer, and ME3 fan, I will most definitely be holding my wallet until I see reviews. My friends who played me3 won't be buying any dlc at all.

Iam aware of that. Iam talking about the ones that just fall in line because they over look that fact that an ending that is lazy is not acceptable.
