Moving a trigger

Does anyone know if it's possible to move a trigger around to follow a creature? Right now I have a scenario where the player has to follow a creature, and if the player gets too close, the creature will run away. Obviously the trigger will simply tell the creature to run to a waypoint, that's easy, it's just moving the trigger that's tricky.

I checked the main game but I don't think this functionality is ever used, if it's even possible.

Worked around the issue by using GetDistanceBetweenLocations() instead, and stuck it in a recursive DelayEvent itself that keeps calling itself. Derp.
