It is a bugged dialog in the first convo. She is supposed to say "I'll always remember that tour of the Normandy. But let's be honest Shepard, It's been six months. Should we continue where we left off?" as opposed to the non-LotSB dialog "It's been years since we've been together." It can be fixed with gibbed save editor.

There are also tiny little dialog differences in the romance scene and goodbye scene as well if you stayed loyal and did LotSB

Miranda was as abused as Jack for the same reasons, but in another way.  She was not good enough.  She was to be perfect and was not.  She was used and felt imperfect.  She could trust no one.  She had pain.  And she woke up, found redemption and belief in herself through Shepard.  This is something almost every one of Shepard's crew members, team, friends all share.  They are all broken people who don't see themselves as worthy.  They find that self-respect with Shepard.  Redemption.

I think she is a well presented character because they never put all of her cards on the table. As a result, people that like her don't see that she's still very evil and the only one of Shepard associates that is more evil than Miranda is Liara.

They both had Daddy issues, were child prodigies, highly altered and liked to sleep with....... well maybe they aren't that similar.

That's pretty funny.  She puts all of her cards on the table with her sister in ME2.  She needs Shepard's help but doesn't want to distract Shepard from Shepard's mission in ME3.  She knows Shepard has a sense of honor that I think she wants to avoid interfering with what she knows ultimately must be done.  She knows her sister will never be safe if she can't finish the job and she fears Shepard won't let her.  I think she also fears that with Shepard around, she won't let herself do it.

Liara as evil-I really don't see any of that.  She had the chance to embrace it if she had wanted to in ME2.  She decided to use the Shadow Broker stuff in order to help.  She certainly has gotten more jaded as time has gone by, but in ME1 she was clearly rather immature, like a young adult who didn't spend time with people-exactly what she was.

By the time ME3 rolls around she's seen and had to do a lot.  She has always had to defend herself, working alone.  And she does have to become cutthroat about some things.  Everyone must.  There's a lot of crap going on.

However, I have seen some allusions to the Asari being able to appear as others want to see them.  Can't remember where-in ME1 I think.  A Salarian says one clearly looks like a Salarian and a Turian says she looks Turian.  IIRC.

The Turian talks about the head crest looking like a Turian's. The salarian probably sees a similarity on skin texture. The human obviously sees similar body shape. We've seen countless depictions of asari that look like humans. Can the statue of Athame control my mind?

That reminds me of the disappointment I felt waking up alone after my first nightmare and Liara was all business and down in her own cabin. I was like "wft? Why isn't she up here with me? And what's all this business about having something 2 years ago?"

Thanks again BioWare for putting out a product that doesn't work properly.

Is the Lair of the Shadow Broker "love scene" with Liara taken into account in ME3 dialog, I saw a youtube video of when Shepard is first talking to her on the Normandy and she says they haven't been together in years as if LotSB romance part never happened.

It's a bug. The "Liara toured Normandy in LotSB" flag is always unset. You can fix it with Gibbed and the "haven't been together in some time" conversation is different.

Her motivation has been obfuscated in the narrative:
1. She says she wants the younger clone to be spared her pain.
2. Her budy points out that she had a luxurious life, as did her sister and that the sister did not originally ask to be "rescued."
3. The SB dossier points out that she can not have children - a setup for "If I can't have kids and you did this to me then, I'll TAKE one."

-What exactly do you think one does with a "wet squad?" (Assasination specialists)
-Keeps the armor Shepard died in. (Losing Shepard made her a little bit "stalker," even more than Conrad?)
-Ship pulls in for shore leave, she chooses to spend all day black mailing, ordering hits and ordering pirate raids.
-Spends periods cheking up on Shepard, including quarters, to see if Shepard is cheating...
Just because she's cute does not mean she's not "dark side."
Shepard: "You worried there may be more terminals you need me to hack?"

Turian: "Please! Be quiet! Don't ruin Asari for me!! There aren't many Turian women on Illium..."

That was intended to be humorous dialogue by three characters at a bachelor party, and not intended to be a factual discussion on Asari biology.

Their speculation is easily debunked.

In LotSB you can view vid files of Asari characters who appear in their familiar forms. If the Asari were truly capable of some sort of mental shape-shift, you would have been seeing Aria or Udina's Asari stripper in their true forms rather than the familiar Asari we all recognize. The Asari would likewise appear in their true forms on the Mass Effect version of television or on the extranet.  Also if Liara is romanced in ME1, her picture will be on Shepard's desk in his cabin in ME2. She looks identical to how she looked in ME1.

Yes, exactly. Ha ha ha. The evil Liara shapeshifter.

I never took the Illium gag as serious, either.
Evil Liara:
-HELPS YOU to kill her own mother, the only parent she's known...
-Kills her personal assistant over a lie before asking any questions.
-Pick her up on Mars, she's 'double-tapping' two dudes in heavy armor. Didn't even need your help...
-Didn't even have to think twice before taking over the Yahg's "Absolute Power" board...
Liara: "...Give me ten minutes and I could start a war..."
Me: "Whoa there, Destrudo. I'll give you a month to get Tavos to at least listen to my hardsuit logs. I remember when you were just a cute little nerd caught in a force field..."
