Liara is forced on Mars and Thessia as well as Javiks DLC. Also the Time Capsule scene which must be completed before you can call up others to your cabin. The whole beginning part of the citadel with the council. There is more but I havent played in a while.

Miranda-Lazarus station and the Omega station, just like Liara has Mars and Thessia, has basically plot armor even if Loyalty mission is not done, Liara has plot armor. Liara has very small roles when she comes to speak to you about stuff, so does Miranda.

Liara has more, but Miranda is very similar.

Liara isn't forced for Javik's mission. The time capsule point is moot because if someone scene was before her, it would have been the same thing, you wouldn't be able to continue without completing their scene, besides that scene is amazing.

And I said Liara has more, why are acting like I didn't.

I missed the part where you said thought...wasnt expecting it. 

And Liara is forced for Javik's DLC mission on Eden Prime. You have to take her. Who knows why. She adds nothing.

No she is not forced. She's usually there for everyone, like James, because people want to get Javik as soon as possible. If you wait, and get another squaddie, so you have three, Liara or James don't have to go.

Wrong. I waited until I had Garrus, and was still forced to bring Liara.

EDIT: Also, re: From Ashes, yes she is a forced party member. I waited to get Javik until I had unlocked ALL THE SQUAD MEMBERS (because I know I wouldn't use him, but wanted to hear what, say, Tali had to say). Still had to take Liara. Because she's the "Prothean Expert" I guess.

To talk about something else, I wished there would have another choice like Virmire in this game.

I think in the leaked script, there was suppose to be a choice in Thessia (Liara wasn't required to bring I think) to save one of your squadmates.

I don't really think anybody believes the DLC will contain this. I think this is more a wishful-thinking-thread where people can say how much they hate Liara. This should be re-named "Liara hate thread - who else wants to kill her?"

Edit: Concerning the question of whether or not you need to bring Liara to Eden prime, weirdly enough I think it might be related to your console. I play pc and had to bring her but others as said above didn't

Liara is forced on Eden Prime. I don't see how anyone is getting otherwise.

and frankly I find her barging in Shep's room and the forced friendship (that can't be avoided just by killing her off like with every other character) is irksome. Even EDI can be completely ignored save her recruitment and Cronos station (and on Cronos she helps out).

Being forced to be buddy buddy to Liara just makes it worse.

ok maybe liara was a forced select in that one it has been a good minute since I played the singleplayer but people are complaining because liara has one extra mission and this mission has something to do with protheans and she is a prothean arichtect ohhh sweet mercy O_O

Uh no if you don't want her as love interest or don't want to talk with her too often then don't killing anybody isn't the solution to the problem once again proving why some of you would never be commanders because of your silly hostility and need to kill people you simply don't like

LOL only a sad easily irritated fool would get upset about a compassionate or kind hearted person as one of your squadmates and a decent commander could talk things out or avoid said squadmate that is annoying him or her your first childish action is too immediately kill that person because you simply don't like them not only do you prove how childish you are
