She is forced for Eden prime.
I wanted to take James and Ashley, but I was only able to take Ash due to Liara getting in my way.
It wasn't like that for me. I brought Garrus and James.
Im not sure how much proof this is, but as you see in this vid Liara is mandatory.
Doesn't prove she's mandatory at all.
She's instantly selected.
Weird.. I brought Garrus and James or I got confused.
Either way, that makes it two missions and a half, it's not such a big deal.
Its more missions than anyone else...so it kinda is.
ok maybe liara was a forced select in that one it has been a good minute since I played the singleplayer but people are complaining because liara has one extra mission and this mission has something to do with protheans and she is a prothean arichtect ohhh sweet mercy O_O
Plus the barging into your cabin 2 or 3 times coupled with the fact that the time capsule scene is more meaningful and touching that any scene involving any of the sqaudmates and ME2 LI. Some people dont like that...so killing her would be the ideal solution.
Uh no if you don't want her as love interest or don't want to talk with her too often then don't killing anybody isn't the solution to the problem once again proving why some of you would never be commanders because of your silly hostility and need to kill people you simply don't like
Only an insane commander would keep her around.
LOL only a sad easily irritated fool would get upset about a compassionate or kind hearted person as one of your squadmates and a decent commander could talk things out or avoid said squadmate that is annoying him or her your first childish action is too immediately kill that person because you simply don't like them not only do you prove how childish you are
It goes to show that maybe humanity is no better then the animals we feed on lol
Lucky for us its just a game!

If you were an adult you wouldve left by now. Face it, you like arguing with "children".LiarasShield wrote...
am I like the only adult who plays this game in this thread cause it really does seem like I'm surrounded by either little kids or teenagers that don't know how to accept or move on over simple things?

it has always annoyed me that she is alway alive in every game but she is biowares fav so no way will they let you kill her sadly
I would imagine they see her as the canon LI, so that's a no.

well perhaps I do like argueing with kids you may be right on that but I'm also wondering why people haven't used simple logic to move on or to just not talk to her as much and just enjoy the game but not only do we automaticlly have to kill the character we don't like we have to post random kill character threads in the forum must it go any lower....?

You have to talk to her a lot...therefore I cant completely enjoy the game. Simple logic.LiarasShield wrote...

Again that logic doesn't make any sense nor would a mature adult sink to use that as logic

you have to talk to her a few times the rest is optional, whats hard about that, Mass Effect is not all about the action

Just give us a Virmire-esque choice that lets Liara's death be an option.
Yeah, Liara vs Garrus and the BSN would explode

I Think new comers keep forgeting the mass effect is a science ficton role playing shooter game not just a shooter but they're is actual roleplaying in it omg although drasticlly limited in the final game
altho ME3 turned into a 3rd person shooter with auto-dialogue with half-assed RPG aspects expect customization
