To spend more time with your squad mates and your Shepard? To explore new places in the galaxy? You know, just like you did in all the ME1 & 2 DLC.

Hey, when someone beats you to the punch, you agree with their statement.

And, I agree, I'm interested in Levithian because it looks interesting. As much as I am greatly against exploring even more of the Reaper Backstory because it goes completely against the Lovecraftian ideology, the Demo and trailer have me interested.

I just realized LotSB doesn't add anything to the ending of ME2, I should probably delete it. But this weird feeling keeps me from doing that... I think they call it "having fun".

Do it, man. I did it too, a few minutes ago. I just realized that neither LOTSB or Overlord or any of the other DLC, had any influence on the ending, so now I can't have fun with them any more. It's impossible.

I just realized that all video games are works of fiction, and that completing them doesn't influence reality. What's the point?

Fiction is impossible to enjoy if it doesn't change the ending, and that ending is in reality.

Sorry mate, but I completely disagree with you there. None of the DLC I have EVER played, including Mass Effect, have ever had any effect on the end of the game. The idea of DLC isn't to change the story but to add a new and interesting storyline. Oh, and as everyone else on this thread has said, I play DLC's for fun <3

Sucks for you! I still LOVE the Kasumi DLC. Best Mass Effect DLC in my opinion! Woot! *off having fun*

No! NO! That is not possible! How are you supposed to have fun with a 1½ hour mission that adds a new squadmate and gives you a new weapon?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE, when it doesn't influence the ending? That doesn't make any sense to me!

Kasumi is my favorite! And, There's this amazing thing called loosly connected plot, sometimes reffered to as an episodic plot. Its where it helps towards a smaller goal and not the main over arching goal! :o What is this madness?! And, then Kasumi is a charming, funny, and awesome character I get to learn more about! *le gasp* Do I smell....Character Development?

...Though, That character development is forgotten in ME3, but not the point...

NO! NO! I refuse! I can't enjoy something if it doesn't influence the ending! It's for the same reason I play the Rannoch part of ME3 blind folded: BECAUSE IT DOESN'T INFLUENCE THE ENDING!

The point is ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL OF YOUR MONEY.

Gonna ask my bioware-fanboy-friend what changes. If he says "additional ending", "additional ending content", or "the endings don't suck anymore", I'll purchase. If not, I'll play in his home xD

Like I said during the Leviathan speculation era is that unless the DLC actually gives EMS a point of existence and affects the outcome of the game, while having a Reaper as an ally would be cool it would still amount to a big fat pile of f**k all. I'll pass

So Bioware if choices/EMS/actions do not matter, you don't get my money.

It's a shame that players need to buy some friggin DLC to find out more about origin of the REAPERS - the true enemy of ME trilogy. It suprises me how ignorant BW is. And I still remember times of full scale expansions. Good old times.

Well, its not like you actually need the DLC to comprehend the base game. They're given plenty of explination in the base game as it is, a bit more than I'm comfortable with honestly.

Its one of the reasons why I think its rediculious that the EC is getting a price tag eventually. It really should remain free and give tacked onto all future coppies of the game. The endings are....I don't even need to finish my sentence.

Paying for exposition on the main villain of the series, paying for things to make sense.

Laughable.

The Reapers didn't really need THAT much of an explination in the first place.

They were Lovecraftian after all. Posted Image
