I'm with you man! DLCs should be completely devoid of any interesting information and of any significant plotlines. Then it would be money well spent!

10 $-€ for a DLC of my favourite game? Any day. You never pay for the things you like? A meal, a ticket for the cinema... etc.

So, what is the point of Levithian? For me, more Mass Effect.

We know that Shepard is looking for Leviathan since it is rumoured that it can defeat the reapers. While this would be a great chapter in the original release, it seems void of purpose now since we know for sure that Leviathan CAN NOT destroy the reapers.

One of the Bioware staff guy says that at best there will only be a couple easter eggs for how Leviathan will change the ending we know. I'm guessing a line or two during the chat with the star brat kid. Here's the interview/gameplay video:

Bring down the Sky, Overlord, Mark of the Assasin, All lthat Troll **** for the Witcher, and most  of  the Fallout Games DLC proove you are wrong


Witcher 2 is a very poor example, because they made a complete overhaul of the game, with a new cinematic for the start, new missions, longer epilogue, fixed some things fans found irritating... And what did they charge for this complete overhaul? Nothing, because their view is: "Players already paid for the game, why should they pay for anymore?".. So PC players got it for FREE, all of it... CD Project Red is a company that is a dieing breed... I sure don't hope Activision or EA get their fingers on them...

When that story is part of a contrived mess that is wholly unsatisfactory to a vast number of people. People bought ME1/2 DLC because that game as a whole was incredibly satisfying, and they simply wanted more of it. With ME3 the focus has shifted from wanting more to hopefully fixing a mess. If it doesn't do anything of the sort, why bother (of course, if you're like me)?

I'll go spend that 10 bucks on Arma 2 DLC, DLC thats actually worth something.
