I agree with garrus, why are you here in the ME3 section than? Wouldn't the ME1 or ME2 sections be better, that way you could talk about games that have fun and a story and not encounter so much resistence to your opinions?

Those boards are fairly inactive. And anyway what else is there to discuss about them?

How much better ME1/2 is to ME3? And beside, can't be as inactive as the off-topic boards and those are my favorite section.

What ever happened to just buying DLC for fun and for the story?
Because don't you think the story of Reaper origin should've been REALLY IMPORTANT and been in the main game? Like Javik should've been?
I certainly think so. I'm sure it will be fun, and I'm most likely going to buy it. I'll wait for reviews first, of course, but to me it looks like a solid DLC at the moment, and something that really should have been in the game in the first place. Furthermore, if Leviathan is really a "rogue" Reaper, I'm pretty sure no one will ever pick Control again if we know the Catalyst's control is not absolute, so it could influence the endings more than we think.
Dunno if I want to get my hopes up too high though.

We already know we can't win with any weapons no matter how infinitely prepared we are. Shepard is killed so who cares about a few extra EMS points?
Why did you pay for Overlord or LOTSB?
I know you weren't asking me, but I bought LOTSB because My love interest is Liara and I was told that In the Final Game, my Love Interest if I kept it for all three games, it will become something more. And because LOTSB is Liara's story, It was necessary to continue it for the Third game.
Overlord also was told that my actions in the DLC will affect my Final Game, and while it did affect it by a few EMS points. It was indeed an disappointment.
But for Leviathan to be successful, with the endings given, and the main storyline shown, what can this Levithan really do for the war effort other than another couple hundred points. Because regardless of what Moral Dillema they present us with, it will just affect the War Esset Points, either goes up or down. Without any effects to the Ending and your experience.

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda, but didn't.
Life is about compromising on what you want and settling for what you can get, for me at least. Would I have wanted this to be in the main game? YES!!!!
I would have also likes LotSB and arrival to be in ME2's main game as well, but that didn't happen becuase much like promotional and special edition weapons, they weren't included for everyone.
Unlike those weapons, we now get the chance to have them, rather than them never being released to the main game like the terminus or collector armors and weapons for ME2.
I am happy to have them, rather than to have never had the chance to have them at all.

I love my money.
the DLC is pointless.
Shepard dies in any case... or almost die or kind of die in destroy.
So... why buy? The poor ending will be the same .. with new dialog.

Yes mate, DLCs should be only about UNIMPORTANT, BORING stuff. That way it would be fair to buyers!Jonathan Shepard wrote...

Seriously it is not: MAIN GAME - important, DLC - unimportant. It is MAIN GAME - essential, DLC - optional. That's it. This game is about defeating the Reapers, not learning about them. Defeating = essential; learning = optional.

Didn't Bioware call Leviathan a "reaper killer"?

LOL no resistance here , I honestly don't get why some people keep defending ME3 ( and maybe even ME2 for that matter)and Bioware and are seeking for hidden storylines and subplots .
I think we still post here because we actually care about what happened to the ME franchise and voice our displeasure and hope that someone at EA/Bioware wakes up until then I fear we may not expect anything good coming from Bioware any time soon

Since ME3 started, the game hasn't been about learning more about the Reapers, its been all about the Crucible.
"Get 'er done!"
And, that lady? What is she a scientist? She annoys me. Reminds me too much of Kenson.
Shepard clearly hasn't learned yet. 'Member what happened with that last scientist and reapers?
Oh, well.
*sighs*

They're alot more inactive than off-topic. In fact they're more inactive than off-topic used to be.

Wow, that is bad. I guess we can all post here and stuff, wish the butting heads would stop though, and the way most of the users on either side post.

Playing because its extra content? Plus Shepard can live through the ending. I never bought dlc for any game because I thought it could "change the ending". I bought dlc because it provides extra content in the game to enjoy.

We already know we can't get better endings. Shepard doesn't get a proper send off so I'm not giving Bioware another dime until they acknowledge they screwed up and fix the endings? DO YOU HEAR ME BIOWARE!?!?!?! I'm talking you YOU!!!! Give me blue children, houses on Rannoch, a huge persidential funeral, etc. etc.
Translated that for you.
