The only way I could imagine them ever doing it, is months and months down the line when interest in the game has died down. It would be a guaranteed way to get people back into the game again. Doing it that late would also make it their own idea. It would be less about giving in to fan demands, it would be them doing it because they want to. Or at least that's how PR would spin it; 'an new angle to the ending we decided to explore'.

It would have to be more of an alternative what-if style of ending though, so as not to undermine their original endings (sort of like that DA DLC where you become one of the darkspawn). Using indoctrination theory would be an easy way of doing it I think. 'What if the Catalyst was lying to you all along?'. That's the only way I could see it happening. I would quite like it if they did.
