Liara is an amazing character. I wish we could have done more with her

As long as she's not mandatory in another mission, I don't think people would complain.

Why not? I've seen people complaining about the briefing that takes place before the mission inside the Ardat-Yakshi monastery.

Really? I'm really not a Liara fan but that didn't bother me. It was a short scene and she didn't follow me afterwards.

Yeah, now that I think about it, the person who wrote that could've been trolling, or just complaining for the sake of complaining.

Since it was on the Story and Campaign forum it was probably the latter.

 It's a fun place if you don't take it too seriously. But yeah, probably trolling. I mean, complaining about that little scene?

It would actually make sense for Liara to find the intel of the Leviathan. For once she could beat Samantha at her own game.

As someone who romanced Jack in this series, be happy with what you got. She could have gotten hosed like all the ME2 characters.

This kinda sums up the role of Liara as the Shadow Broker in ME3.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Liara fan boy, she's been my first, and my only LI since the first ME, but come on.

Haha, the image is great and so true. Thanks for posting. Her broker position served more like a source of crew's jokes than a source of information.

The highlight was lair of the shadowbroker a whole dlc centering around my favorite Mass effect character.
I understand that she got the most attention of all the LI. I understand how she was plot centric to the most important things in the series. But still...I just want more [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/angel.png[/smilie]

I'm greedy in same way, Dendio1 . More (well-written) Liara the better. I'd be happy if DLC brings more exclusiveness to Liara's romance. I mean, a vast majority of her lines or rather intimate moments are basically available for non-LI and if you slept with everyone you still get her same lines as one who was faithful to her. I feel her dominance within ME3 appearances resulted in a repression of content accessible only to pre-ME3 romance. This was the case with other LI, afaik.
Saying that I support more content for other LI even if I didn't and won't woo them. Um, okay, maaaybe Traynor some day. All characters need a bit of balance.

What did Ashley again...besides getting drunk and making racist remarkes?

Be a good character.

Hum, I don't think we played the same game then. How's that getting a major hangover, always nagging on Liara, being distrustful of Shepard for the first part of the game, being manipulated by Udina and not having any useful dialogue define a character as good?

Liara is an interesting character. I personally am not fond of her, but I can see why she's so loved.

But come on, we all want more more time with our favourites. I think we need more time with people who have been shafted so far. Aka, all of the ME2 cast minus team dextro.

I'll second that

I like Liara but I thought the whole Shadow Broker thing could've been handled much better in ME3.

You mean she could have actually been one?

Instead of being useless?

Yeah, that would have been something...

She discovered the crucible plans, warns the next cycle if Shep refuses, is gathering resources (both physical and information) for the crucible and saves an unknown number of asari refugees.

What did Ashley again...besides getting drunk and making racist remarkes?

Well, Liara is the SB. She's got all the information in the galaxy. Saving refugees with a tap of her finger.
Ashley's a soldier. She accepted spectre status because she thought she could help and do more than that. And if you send her with Hackett she takes up Command and does well.

And racist. Aha. I laugh everytime that's mentioned. classic BSN is classic.

Although, Ashley did by far, get the short end of the stick when it comes to the squadmates. She doesn't talk once you get her back. It's such a waste. Kaidan says much more than her.... KAIDAN!
