I can't get Leliana's quest to come up and everytime i try to talk to her all there is is for me to ask her if she knows anything about this place. i need help plz

talk to her in camp a few times. after that you need to encounter a random encounter which will trigger the quest.

I dont get what your problem is..... do you want to do her personal quest or do you want to have sex with her. Some prerequisites seem to differ for each.

I cant remember exactly but I got an option to flirt with her very fast in conversations, i.e. ask her about "her flower" or if she *likes* women; things like that.



To trigger her personal quest you have to specifically talk about bards being a spies, then she tells you about her relationship with Marjolaine and after some travelling you get random encounter that is a start of that quest.



I noticed though, if I get her approval too high (over 70) too fast I dont get the conversation that triggers the quest.

You also have to have her approval to 100 and in love technically. I did get her to sleep with a female character at 90 or 92, but it jumped to 100 and love once the scene was over.

I've heard differing reports as to whether she has to be at 90 or 100. I romanced her at 100, with a male PC.



For the personal quest, you need her to tell you about bards being spies, and keep asking about Orlais, bards, etc. when such options come up until she spills the beans.



I think there are multiple conversations that can lead to the romance scene, since the one I got was not the same I saw in guides. I don't remember how it started, but it was a camp conversation, I just picked the choices that seemed nicest / most romantic / most Leliana-esque and before I knew it, she was making fun of me for not picking up on her offer to come to bed.

I think there's about three major conversations with her. Always talk to her ASAP - that's what I always do. Clear all conversation paths (I do this for all characters anyway). First conversation is about her life in the Chantry and what a beautiful woman like her was doing in such a place, next one is about her past and life in Orlais, then one about bards (which causes her to reveal. indirectly, that she was a bard in Orlais). Once those are done, there should be a scene when you return to camp (leave and return if needed) where she confronts you to tell you that she lied about her reasons for coming to the Chantry and Ferelden. After that, you will get the encounter where assassins are sent to kill her. That leads into her asking you for help on her personal quest to resolve things with Marjolaine.

How did you do that? I got her to sleep with me just now, but she asked me (or rather, told about how inviting her bedroll is). I couldnt tell her that I loved her, nor ask her to go to bed before she did.

It also varies depending on whether you are playing a male or female PC as far as the approval needed and the trigger lines in the conversation.

Also ask her about life in Orlais, then humor her when she goes on about how much she loves shoes. Next time in camp give her the blue suede shoes, and she melts.

I'm pretty sure, by the way, that you can't romance her if you're "romancing" two other characters. I had slept with Morrigan, Zevran was trying to sleep with me, and Leliana wouldn't even kiss me, despite being at 100. At the end, she told me I've been such a great friend to her. Friend zone

i Think they all easy to bed don't know why some people have problems maybe it because you don't talk to person every time they go up in approval like from 50 to 60 ect.

How? Umm... I just asked her when the option appeared, and it always appears for me, that's all.

On the other hand, I have never experienced her asking me to go to bed... inviting bedroll or anything else.

You can, but she will challenge you on your feelings at some point to force you to decide. Of course, it may depending on timing, too; if you miss the timing, she may never challenge you.

I keep my team in good morale so Lei does get jealous sometimes...   I calm her down quickly, though. She just has trust issues due to her past... quite understandable, really.

No, a 10% boost in approval is fine.  Jumping from warm/adore to love is fine.  But sitting there watching the person sleep and generally being a creep about it coupled with the mega creep laugh is not love.  It a restraining order waiting to happen. 

I don't care how romantic you are, if someone said they want to put your eyelashes in a jar after they give you the creepy stalker laugh it's not romantic.  It's creepy.

Oddly enough Leliana is one of my favorite characters.  I wonder what that says about me?

Tbh if I got that kind of line from Alistair it would raise his approval rating wih me quite a bit

Actually, your statement only applies to you and to your definition of love and/or affection, not to everyone. Expressions of love and affection have varied between cultures and throughout history, and there is no one approach that applies to everyone.

So... you find some of Leliana's traits and forms of expression crazy and/or creepy, but others may feel the opposite.  In game, this is rather like the exchange between Lei and Alistair when he talks to her about her past as a bard and the conversation turns to her seducation of targets in order to gather information from them. He points out that they could expose her deceit afterwards, and Lei replies "Not if they're dead. Can you imagine a more wonderful way to go than being seduced and killed by a beautiful woman?" (or something to that effect... I'm paraphrasing). Alistair hesitantly replies, "Well, ok... you know, you're scary!"
 
 

But Lei would just say that's part of her appeal, just like the sisters who take vows and are "forbidden fruit"

My 1st and only playthrough was around 135 hrs. Lei was 100% approval for my male PC (my avatar) and I pursued all conversation arcs and her personal quest. She never even gave me a chance. I continue to wonder now if BW made a game so intelligent that is actually made it impossible to bed the woman who I most desired in-game. Sheesh
