[BS411]

 So I was playing a gold game yesterday with one of those people who like to tell everybody what to do in gold and when he saw that I was using a Male Quarian Infiltraror, he was telling me how that particular character is bad and he hates it and how I shouldn't use it. Ever since I unlocked this character 2 weeks ago i've been using it in every gold game that i've played and have successfully won most of them.

I don't see the problem with this character because the Tactial Scan maxed out helps out everybody because it shows all the enemies around and this helps the team get prepared for whatever enemy is about to come into the room and the Arc Grenades are helpful if there is a cluster of enemies because it weakens their shields and makes them easier to kill.

So I don't personally see a problem with this character but I wanted to get more opinions from people about it. So how do you feel about this character?

Lol ur friends probs just jealous. But he is tied as being one of the best characters in the game.
Win grenades with an 80% damage bonus is unstoppable.

Tactical scan is terribly underrated as an ability. It's not a sexy boom boom ability but it helps out all players and any edge you can get on taking down bosses quicker is a good thing.

Arc Grenades are just fantastic. Honestly, I could see a radius nerf coming.

Using Tactical Scan as a team based hunter mode is a great support skill. Add in the utility and/or damage of TC and you have a class that is viable on Gold/Platinum.

He was my go to infiltrator before I got my Shadow. Tac Scan to make powerful enemies easier to deal with and arc grenades for crowd control. Also, you have more flexibility with him when it comes to the weapons you carry. The arc grenades have no cooldown. Tac scan lasts longer than the recharge time even if power regen is only so-so. I used to equip him with a mattock for ranged attacks and a Reegar for up close and personal. Absolutely ruled against cerberus. By adding shredder mod to the Reegar, I was able to sneak up on and take out phantoms, centurions, engineers, turrets and guardians.

I usually use the Engineer version for direct combat. And use the infiltrator version for support, mainly capping objectives, but he is also a great damage dealer.

Tacscan is very good power to locate multiple enemies which is very valuable. He is a scout with one of the most powerful grenade in the game.

However, he's a bit lacking in term of skill synergy unlike his engineer brother who got tech burst and fire explosion to wipe the entire spawn off the map.

Love the QMI. Awesome blend of damage output (controlled, since it's grenades and not a power) and reconnaissance. I've had PUG squadmates be very appreciative when I hit the Area Scan so they can see through Cerberus's smoke or a Phantom or Hunter that was sneaking up on them. And then the Arc Grenades are fantastic crowd control. A fantastic support character that is fun and dynamic to play.

The guy telling me it was bad actually wasn't my friend. He was some random who likes to boss everybody around in gold and acts like he knows every single thing about this game which he aparently doesn't now if thinks this character is bad.

The way I play my QMI is as a high damage output character. Anyone who says it sucks has no clue. I use grenade capacity as the gear and a reegar as the weapon (though a claymore/piranha/harrier is also good). I like the reegar for this build, especially when glacier speed running. Nade the hell out of spawns, rush in with your reegar and mop up whatever is left.

Specced him for longer cloaking and close-range.

One of my funniest characters, really. Grenading enemies without even breaking invisibility! Boy i hope they leave it that way.

QMI is one of the highest damage output characters in the game. At one time second only to the GI, IDK after all the balance changes and new characters. You could argue the QMI is superior to the GI in mass mob damage whereas the GI is better in terms of pure damage output on one enemy. In any case they are two of the three best characters on the game at this point.

I think he is a great character that is very balanced. Arc grenades are great, but they have a limit. Tac Cloak was adjusted to force a choice in role. Tac scan is an early warning debuff. I find this character to be a valuable member of most team make ups.

It's great, it's my favorite infiltrator: Not as squishy as GI, but still can see cloaked enemies with tactical scan. Phantoms become very easy to handle with this one.

MQI is on par with the GI, Destroyer, and Demolisher at the tier of  "you can't go wrong not playing anything else."

Best Infi, in my opinion. Not quite as good at slaughtering bosses as the GI, but much better for clearing spawns and supporting the team. A lot less squishy, too. That's always a plus. Anyone who says it's bad is an idiot.

QMI was my go-to character until I fell in love with my Destroyer.

 I hadn't used a sniper in a while and wanted to try out the new buffed indra so i took my MQI with indra and the indra went from good gun to awesome gun. and the MQI is awesome. some people are stupid. ignore them
