love him, great killer tossing arc grenades the lenth of the field, cloaking geting behind unloading my hurricane in the back ,cloak and gone, not tried reegar yet with him might give it a go

Still see a ton of them.

Stagger proof soldier, still rakes with the Typhoon, Indra, or Harrier + Piranha.  Kroguard should be on there, too.

I hate to admit this but I just spec him out after having him unlocked for a while. He's not bad at all with his armor grenades and shield/barrier grenades. I'm playing around wich guns to use with him. I've tried the pheaston and n7 eagle.

I'd consider him my most powerful character with a Reeger X and Grenade Upgrade V he's pretty unstoppable. My go to infiltrator for Platinum.

The guy telling you otherwise is an imbecile. It's one of the best characters. I run a 44666 build right now.  Focusing on power boosts for the Arc Nades and durability. Having a non squishy Quarian is rather fun. Over 1000 shields on this guy.

Ignore the tactical scan, take granade gear 5, and a BW, Kill everything, and outscore+ revive your annoying teammate in every game you play /unles he's play Gi

He's a carry class.

TC allows you to get damage bonus.
TS allows you to be a quasi engineer and gives you a damage bonus on top of the one you have with TC
Arc grenades with grenade package puts you over the top. If you spec all damage, you get something like 6 grenades (can't remember because I get so board playing this class I stopped a while ago)

You can spec full in the Operative Skill.

You only need to put 3 levels in to fitness; however, with this class, you only take TC to four which allows you to gain an extra health bonus with level 4 in fitness.

Throw on a Saber, Indra, Valiant, Revenant, Typhoon, Reeger........... hell, just about anything outside of the eagle, and this class pretty much annihilates.

I tend to use either the Claymore or Reegar on him. Reegar seems more fitting, as he is named Reegar and he is a manly Quarian man.

GI is better on any map where grenades are scarce but in grenade rich maps, the QMI can hold its own. Its also more forgiving of mistakes as you have better health and shields, which is important for stray shots and warp balls hitting.

However, you better be good at using your gun when you see the map is glacier or you see other grenade users in the field. Even a demolisher who sucks grenades from ammo boxes while keeping her own can easily reduce you to running and gunning for multiple waves. I use this guy with the mantra of "run like the wind, stop only to decloak and recover shields then run again." Works great.

Ok, so I unlocked this guy yesterday and had level 13 to start from cards. I was really excited to try him out... and brought him to a silver match and promptly got my clock cleaned.

I'm a pretty good player, but my comfort zone is with salarians (SI and SE I frequently take to Gold and Platinum and do fine) and also I unlocked the Fury, Demolisher, and Destroyer N7's and had no trouble at all.

So I'm asking how do people generally play this class? I spec'd cloak for damage and brought an Eviscerator V Shotgun, but I wasn't one-shotting the Geth like I expected, and they then killed me.

I tried scanning first, then cloaking and firing, and it still wasn't doing it. How is the class "supposed" to work? Do I just need to bring a better shotgun? I have a Claymore VII, but I HATE only having 1 shot. IS the idea to cloak and 1-shot enemies or am I doing it wrong?

Again, I like the class, and want to make it work, but from reading this it seems that the optimal build is to cloak and use grenades ftw. That's fine, but it's definitely not what I was doing, heh. What's the gig?

It's a very good character if you set up tac scan to reveal all targets near your target. Spamming scan when holding a spot that nobody can see what is coming up on the flank really does more to get people's attention than saying something on a mic. Slowing that main target is very helpful as well. Add armor piercing and shooting stuff through the walls or softening a target is non-stop fun. It's definitely a gold character. Some maps do not do as well as others with sniper weapons, so if that is how you play (sniper), then there are better maps than others that have nothing to do with MQI. So when the guy said they weren't very good, he was saying he shold be kicked.

Oh, normally sniper is not at all good on FB Glacier...but with something like a black widow 10+AP mod+AP ammo and tac scan, walls are kind of unimportant and you can hit all kinds of stuff that nobody else will.

I actually use the harrier or indra on this dude and don't get up close. Cloak, get in position, toss and arc grenade, then just destroy the mob as they spazz out. I also spec'ed for duration because it really helps with revives and objectives.

Did I make a big mistake not taking area scan, and going for longer TC, should I just respec and give him a shotgun instead of a sniper rifle.
