I would have agreed at one point back before the EC was released, until I discovered through a number of BSN polls that people really were just wanting a happy sunshine and bunnies ride off into the sunset with their LI and have babies ending. Which would be worse than even the original endings.

So it was then that I changed my mind and accepted that the EC would be the best it ever got. Which isn't great but it's better than what the "majority" want.

I agree with the OP. I'd suggest that people who are dissatisfied with the endings watch this one, as it seems to sum up what we're looking for.

Agreed. But this problem is not soluble. The major demand around here seems to be for Refuse to somehow lead to conventional victory. If something like that was actually implemented, it would just unleash another tsunami of hatred.

I've heard more than a few ways from fans on these forums that would fix or improve the endings we currently have. I think Bioware could keep the endings they currently have, but expand on refusal, and make it possible to win with all the war assets that are going to get thrown our way from SP DLC

they have already give us the EC which was more than they had to. I will put it simply no video game combany would and will never replace an entire ending afther the game is released it just will never happen. so you have 2 choices ether play the game with the ec or never play the game again it is just that simple.

No your making the wrong statement,bioware had 2 choices they could've left the endings as they were or change the endings to something that made sense to the story.
they in fact choice neither but choose to do it only halfway...now  why would they change anything ( and they did change some major stuff like not blowing up all relays) if they were happy with the endings as they were ?
And I think the makers of the Witcher 2 have changed things.
Other games didn't have to change anything since they had endings which were in tandem with the rest of the game.

Considering Bioware doesn't want an ending to be canon, I don't see what's wrong with creating more alternate endings.

I generally like the EC but it would be neat if they added an alternate IT ending or something.

you're referencing meta-critic? We all know that a single person can go and give it a bad rating over and over and over until the overall score drops off....now take the people that hate the game, and have them do that over and over and over....obviously the score is going to drop.....I find meta-critic to be the most illegitimate review site around....

Really??  Calling ME3 'crap' is silly.  Its an extraordinary AAA game, polished gameplay, more 'rpg' elements over ME2, tremendous music, and (despite the whiners) provides an emotional end to Shepard's story.  Leaving the end out of it, I thought ME3 was wonderful.

For me there is no need to change anything...I like the endings quite a bit...changing them to anything more positive (how is ending a cycle that was in place for millions of years is anything but positive is beyond me) would undermine these current endings...

I am in favor for given more context...which the DLC will most likely give.

first off, the Catalyst isn't a child....he just appears to be(I actuated cant stand children, and this is my only problem with the EC ending, albeit a minor one.) He's an AI construct that's been behind the scenes terrorizing the galaxy with its twisted logic and its genocidal cycle for millennia.....yes, that was the twist.....yes, I enjoy it....

Newsflash: its been done in the sci fi genre before....many times.....apparently you're not too familiar with the genre....

Edit: oh....and Twilight blows.....you sure youre not secretly hiding your excitement for it are you? I mean, a ridiculously stupid movie with a happy ending with rainbows and butterflies.....sounds right up your alley

umm....yeah....I can say everything I just said lol.....what I just stated about meta-critic is a fact. No, my mind wouldn't change if the meta-critic score was high, because as i said, its not reliable....I can also state what I said about most other sites(read the comments pertaining to ME3 on any other site besides BSN, the whiners are simply the minority, getting bashed by the people that like it)
