No to boobs (according to cut dialogue from the citadel groundskeeper) and no to eggs (per a tweet to Weekes several months ago).

I see nothing wrong with giving them a smaller fringe but keeping body size more or less the same (or a bit bigger for the ladies, especially around the hips). Maybe shorten the leg spurs a bit and make the faces more feminine in shape (per my avatar). It's so easy to make such small changes, not sure what the hold up is.

That's not the point. The point is that removing the fringe and calling it a female is extremely cheap and lazy, especially when Garrus explicitly states in ME2 that male turians are expected to comment on the fringes of the females. If they don't have fringes to begin with, what the hell can the males comment on?

My solution: reduce the size of their mandibles and make their facial features and body shape less blocky and jagged. No boobs, obviously, but wider hips in the case that turians breed live young. Oh, and something like this in addition to the normal fringe:

Actually that person Anti-Matter is falsely claiming that art (they posted two different pieces of art in that forum that are by two different artists I know). I am pretty sure that femturian design is by Malin Ek, her DA account can be found at meken.deviantart.com

Also, it was never stated that the desgins in the comics were canon. The writers, such as Weekes, have stated that the femturians look pretty much like the males.
Untill there is a offical annoucment, it's all speculation.
