I have had this message appear pretty much every time I have started ME3 since last Thursday (except for once last Sunday afternoon when I managed to play some Multiplayer before I decided to go to the store and then the connection dropped....)
I've tried to have a look at previous topics but I can't really find anything relevent as its not that my connection is dropping, its that the game won't even connect.
Not quite sure what I need to check at my end, I realise (based on what I've seen on the forums) this might not be my issue but an issue with the servers but I'd at least like to check!

you are not the only 1.
since the EC dlc and whichever MP dlc it was before earth, ME3 has been completely unplayable for both single and multiplayer. the frames would plummit as soon as the main menus appeared. from then on its just utter garbage.
every few days i check to see if it has been fixed but for the past few days i cannot even connect to bEAware as it says its not available.
i seriously doubt its at our end as ME3 is the only game that isnt working for me.

yeah its been spotty for me too. since monday i could connect only twice.
go to https://help.ea.com/
contact the chat support. go through all the steps with them. maybe it'll help. if not, it'll show up in their system.

I was leaning between either some kind of bandwidth issue (e.g. taking too long to connect and so timing out) or the Earth DLC - I've re-downloaded all the DLC bar Earth and yes I can now connect to the game and play multiplayer.
So on the one hand, yay that I can now play some MP however I was really looking forward to getting an Earth character seeing as I've not been able to get a single one yet .Although saying that I tried to go to the store a while ago and then it kicked me from the connection. :/
What I'm not sure about though is that while everything has always been really slow to load (I could make a cup of tea in the time it takes to get to the main menu), but I'm sure loading is even slower when I had the Earth DLC installed - so maybe its timing out or something like that. :/
