This thread has been cloned from the Story boards, but I'd like to see the opinions of people who don't visit that section as much. 

I don't think I'll buy it at launch. I can spend my money elsewhere.

I'm probably going to buy it, simply because right now it really feels like I'm in a video game dry spell. Diablo 3 was supposed to last much longer than it did. I'm sort of in a ME2 playthrough but it hasn't been moving very quickly, want to wait until this DLC gets closer before I move forward.

Don't see the point of it. Storyline makes no sense, and doesn't fit into the plot of the vanilla game. Don't care about fancy new weapons.

How does it not fit into the plot of the vanilla game? "Shep-herd, find some stuff to defeat the Reapers then come back to Earth".

It doesn't make sense to do right before the end of the game, but say, between the story arcs, it makes plenty of sense.

Honestly, I'd probably do it right at the beginning of the game. Shepard tries to take the easy way out and find a way to defeat the Reapers directly.

I might, just depends on how it. But at the same time its something I feel bioware has done before aka "mysterious reaper thingy" and the screenshots appears to me as " defend this object until something arrivals "
