Getting both Leviathan and the Firefight pack. Minute one. Nothing can dissuade me.

I will buy Leviathan at launch and play it. If I feel like it was worth my money, then I will buy future SP DLC as well.

Leviathan will supposedly create an additional rift in the ending and will affect the way the Extended Cut plays out. Of course I will buy it. Even if it didn't, I would still buy it at launch. I love Mass Effect and Bioware. No number of issues with the endings or ungrateful fans will change that. When it comes to Bioware, I have a "Shut up and take my money!" mentality.

On the fence right now. Leaning more toward "buy" if it comes out before August 21st.

I will probably get the weapon pack as well, although having to pay for guns I can get for free in MP still gives me a sour taste in my mouth. Well, that's one advantage PC gamers have over the consoles, homebrew "fixes".

Going to buy it as soon as possible. I might also buy the weapon pack.

As I've said elsewhere, I plan to buy it on release, assuming I can get official confirmation that the whole squad is getting new content.

Beyond that, my only concern is that it be well written. I hope to be satisfied.

Yes I will buy at launch. Because I want to learn more about the reaper origins so I can have a better understanding of the reapers and the catalyst.

I wouldn't necessarily say I have a 'shut up and take my money' mentality...  I never did buy the second DA2 DLC with that elven thief, and that was mainly because I was fed up with DA2.

The general quality of the ME2 DLC is fresh in my mind however, and I thoroughly enjoyed From Ashes... but even ignoring this, I would have bought Leviathan on the basis of that gamespot video alone. The Reapers are one of the most fascinating aspects of the ME universe and delving into their origins is *exactly* the kind of thing I'm willing to lay money down for.

Plus the underwater sections looked interesting. And I've never used the Raider before.

Yup. Lets hope when they say 'soon', they actually mean 'soon' and not 'October'.

I didn't like the ending but I still want to know more and will buy both. Still my favourite series.

No, it won't. It is impossible for DLC to affect other DLC. It will probably give us some more backstory on the Reapers, but that's it. The gaming media is over-hyping things as usual.

It will affect dialogue with the short guy at the end (you'll be able to prod him about a couple things that happen in the DLC). (The dialogue is already there in the extended cut, even though it can't currently be accessed in the game.)

But that's about all. Most everything else will have to come from exposition in the DLC, as you suggest.

Not much to think about, getting these as soon as they become available. No such thing as to much ME content!

Youre such a hipocrate, you know that, dont you?
If you dont want to waste your precious time with ME3, then why do you still bother posting something ON THE GAME'S FORUM?!

Yes I will. I still wonder whether it will contribute to the endings somehow. If there is supposed to be something that can destroy a Reaper then lot of the events that would occur after this DLC would make less sense.

I'm buying both the Leviathan DLC and the weapon pack on launch. While BioWare might have fumbled the ball with the original ending, the rest of the game was still rock solid, and this will be more of that. And for the weapon pack, well, more guns are always good.

I was going to say the very same thing in reply to that post. Amen.

Considering I still have not shelled out a tiny 12 bucks for the rest of the ME2 DLC, I mean no insult when I say I will probably wait. I WANT to buy it on launch though.

Leviathan DLC, purchase at launch. Not sure about the weapons pack yet, but it's not like it's going anywhere.
