Youre such a hipocrate, you know that, dont you?
If you dont want to waste your precious time with ME3, then why do you still bother posting something ON THE GAME'S FORUM?!

The OP asked a 'yes or no' question, and I answered. He didn't ask "Only those who will buy it post here".

No need to get so frustrated on what I will and won't buy.

I think the hypocrite mention wasn't to do with indicating that you weren't buying it, it stemmed from the fact that you're claiming that you don't want to 'waste your time' with it but you appear to be quite happy to spend your time posting about a DLC that you don't like - most people consider doing something that they dislike for no reason to be a waste of time.

If you look at the stack of posts on here from people who are indicating that they won't or not likely to buy it, you'll find its really only the ones that claim its crap etc that get grief. Mainly because claiming its crap on the basis of a few screenshots, a few minutes footage and a trailer doesn't make sense.

There's nothing else for me to play out there... I'm playing either ME 3 MP or Bf 3 :|,
so yes, I will buy this + from ashes when it gets released and I'll start a new playthrough with my usual Shepard for this and later I'll play it again with my femshep :P.

It's hard to dislike something that you basically know nothing about. I'm simply claiming that I won't bother with it, mainly b/c what BW delivered with ME3 and EC. It's hard to have high standards for something when the previous installment(s) were great disappointments.

Fun fact: The same could be said the other way around.

I'll probably buy it...

I'm very intrigued to see how the story will unfold and how the creators are going to react to all the criticism they have had to endure since the games launch...

I'm just as curious to see how the fans will react as well. No matter how much we argued and disliked certain aspects of this "master piece" serie, I think we can all agree that it's worth it to try and support Bioware's hard work. It must have been very hard to find pride, inspiration and focus these days...

I, for one, disaproves how the current endings have been administered (they felt rushed and poorly designed)... I guess you can't please everyone, but I will not let the endings alone prevent me from enjoying a game that I love and in which I have invested hundreds of hours.

Won't buy. I have lost my interest in Mass Effect universe after the ending of ME 3.

Thank you, Bioware, for saving my money.

Ok, let me rephrase it then - you're claiming you'll avoid it as it will be a waste of time, but you're quite happy to waste time posting about how you won't buy it. I'm just pointing out what the poster was saying had nothing to do with the fact that you won't be getting it - as you can see, the majority of people saying they won't be getting it are not being challenged on their choice.

Fun fact: The same could be said the other way around.

That's quite true, but completely irrelevant - since people who are indicating they'll buy it are doing so because they want to learn more about the lore, impressed with the gameplay shown or enjoyed the previous DLC... not because they like *this* DLC. Because no-one knows what its like, as none of us have played it.

I will be purchasing the Leviathan DLC on launch. As far as the weapons pack, I don't know. I don't like the idea of paying for something that was previously free but the pack does offer a lot of weapons(plus new ones) for only two dollars.

This thread has been cloned from the Story boards, but I'd like to see the opinions of people who don't visit that section as much.

I don't think I'll buy it at launch. I can spend my money elsewhere.

well depends on relase date. If it will be relase before 28 August I will buy it, after I will check it on YT or somewhere. If it will be relased after 28 August will not buy it in this year. At the end of August Guild Wars 2 will be relased and I plan to play it with my friends. Also soon should be  Baldur's Gate  Enhanced Edition,  so I will have others games for fun.

I'm on the fence about the weapon pack. I already have my favourite weapons - Carnifex, N7 Hurricane, Scimitar, Partcle Rifle and Black Widow make up my optimal arsenal on my modded Adept. I've always liked the concept of the Reegar Carbine, Harrier, Indra and the Geth SMG but none of them really fit well with the Particle Rifle, as they perform similar roles (albeit different aspects of the PR). The Krysae is a cracking SR but is a bit redundant with the Adept's skills, which really just leaves the new guns.

Then again, moar guns is moar guns. I quite like the look of the Punisher SMG.... reminds me of a futuristic MP9.

What exactly did you do to your Adept?

I don't see how me posting my reason for not buying the DLC would be considered a waste off my time, yet alone that I'm happy about it.

When someone asks a question, it is common courtesy to answer. If someone asks whether I want cookies or not, is it a waste of my time for me to answer, when I intend to say 'no'?

Joking aside, no I don't see it as a waste of my time. I could care less what anyone else thinks is and is not. I do admit that I could easily have elaborated why I won't be wasting my time with the DLC. But alas, I didn't.

That's quite true, but completely irrelevant - since people who are indicating they'll buy it are doing so because they want to learn more about the lore, impressed with the gameplay shown or enjoyed the previous DLC... not because they like *this* DLC. Same could be said about people who're indicating that they won't be buying the DLC - They are not interested in the Leviathan and 'its' lore / afraid that it will end up as a disappointment / not impressed with the gameplay shown / haven't enjoyed the previous DLC / etc.

And that also has nothing do with them not enjoying what they've seen in this DLC, perchance.

Just removed the weight mechanic, so there are no weight bonuses or penalties (technically I set the max bonus and penalty to zero). It has the effect of making Cooldown reduction kit/upgrades useful and means I might as well carry a gun in every slot.

But Adepts don't need guns. It's like having a rocket launcher with limited ammo when you can shot unlimited firebalss that do more damage.

Buy it at launch winning by a landslide.

I'm kind of suprised. I expected more people to lie vote 'no' while secretly buying at launch.

No, after that horrible Deus Ex Machina ending I have no intention of buying a Mass Effect game or DLC ever.

In fact my computer's hard drive just crashed and I decided NOT to reinstall those games.

Technically no, they don't, but I happen to like being able to shift between firepower and biotics as and when I choose. Biotics don't function particularly well over longer distances (particularly against Cerberus) hence where the Black Widow and Particle Rifle comes in.

So you say - I'm not arguing about whether you think you are or not, I'm pointing out most people in your situation would be wasting their time by spending it talking about stuff they're not interested in. Hence where the hypocrite comment came from.

If you genuinely, uh, enjoy talking about stuff you can't be bothered with then... well, more power to you, but you can't blame someone for assuming that would count as a waste of time in most people's books.

Same could be said about people who're indicating that they won't be buying the DLC - They are not interested in the Leviathan and 'its' lore / afraid that it will end up as a disappointment / not impressed with the gameplay shown / haven't enjoyed the previous DLC / etc.

Again, true and irrelevant. My point was that the people who say this kind of thing as reasoning aren't the ones who are being challenged on their choice, ergo your choice as to whether to buy isn't the reason for the hypocrite comment.

I will wait for reviews and if they're good, I'll buy it right before my next playthrough. I'm gonna replay the trilogy for that.

Yes I will. Though I think the endings lack an epilouge and reunion - I can't stop being addicted to ME. I will buy everything that extends this game.

I will buy it right from the start - So long as Origin doesn't attempt to prevent me from getting it, like it did with the "From Ashes" content.
