So I bought Dragon Age: Origins for the PC awhile back and just recently started playing it again. Everything was working fine for the past few days but then today when I tried to resume my last save, it told me that I needed to log into my account with that content (Blood Dragon Armor and Shale) which I have been the entire time. I am still logged into that profile and it will not let me resume. I've tried logging out and logging back in again.

Patch 1.05 corrects most DLC errors such as this... if you don't have it, install it.
Also, if you have non-standard characters in your password, this can also cause problems. Only numbers and letters work for log ins.

I have this problem with my DA Ultimate edition i bought afew days ago, it seems to have dled all the packages with the origin installer but it says all are unauthorized even the free ones lol.
Does origin not keep the game up to date itself??

Short answer: no. You need to install the 1.05 patch manually. Use the "Games" tab at the top of this web page, select Dragon Age:Origins > Patches ... and it will take you to the patch download page.
