As some of you know, a little while back, around the time the Earth DLC got officially announced and released, I went ahead and made some statements about Platinum difficulty. I was in fact so bold in my statements about Platinum being hard to farm that I went on and underestimated all you awesome players and said that if you could consistently farm Platinum on FBW, I would buy and eat at least part of a hat.
Now, it took less than 2 hours for someone to have solo'd Platinum when it released (and I promised I'd tip my hat to you sir, but I'm afraid I ate all of it before I remembered, so here's a shout-out instead), and the consistent victory on Platinum for teams wasn't far behind, proving me immensely wrong to question the might of our community. Unfortunate promises on my side aside it is pretty fantastic to see the videos of people completing/solo-ing Platinum, and based on the couple of threads calling me out and PM'd recipes of hats I'm going to guess that everyone had fun completely destroying what I thought would've been a challenging goal.
Time had come for me to buy and eat (part of) a hat, and today the planning and execution of said endeavor has been completed. (Finally, lazy Jos!)
Of course, I don't expect anyone to take my word for it, so I present you the proof of the hat-eating. (for the love of what's holy, don't fail me image tags)
Hey, but those are cupcakes! They're not hats! I hear you. The cupcakes had little fez hats on top as you can see, and although I cannot recommend they be used as actual headwear, they did make for delicious tasting hats.
Of course, I did not eat all of them, that would be way too much. I shared all of these with my surrounding co-worker friends, and surprisingly none of them seemed to mind getting a delicious cupcake.
Thank you, everyone, for making this a fun thing. I'm obviously going to be much more careful in what I say with regards to betting the community cannot do X or Y, because in all likelihood you'll just prove me wrong again.
