are you honestly going to argue that the trilogy miranda romance is better than the trilogy ashley romance?  Much less for ME3?

Well, there isn't a trilogy romance for either of them, seeing how both of them only have 2 games of romance content.

But Miranda's ME3 romance content isn't bad at all, it's that everything else that falls on its face (That and the fact that Miranda has less romance content than every other romance character besides Jack).

Well, there isn't a trilogy romance for either of them, seeing how both of them only have 2 games of romance content.

But Miranda's ME3 romance content isn't bad at all, it's that everything else that falls on its face (That and the fact that Miranda has less romance content than every other romance character besides Jack).

Okay, you're loyal, and I respect that.  And you're right, they both get 2 games of romance.  I just feel that ME1 Ash is the best romance in the trilogy, and thus Ash overall is the best romance.  But I will concede that ME2 Miranda is an AMAZING romance (my second favorite, over ME3 Ash).

I just think that ultimately, Ashley has a more rewarding romance than Miri.  They're still #1 and #1A.

I'm the sort of person who makes different decisions through different play throughs just to see the content. Though I don't think that makes you weird, OP if you're not.

My preferred romance is Kaidan, but I've romanced Liara, Jack, Miranda, Jacob (damn, that was painful), Jack, and Steve.

I imagine I'll get around to Thane and Garrus some day. I have a bit of a mental block when it comes to Tali. She just seems so young in ME1 that I kind of have her locked into the "little sister" category in my head.

I've got BroShep/Liara, FemShep/Kaidan, and BroShep/Ashley under my belt. Now on FemShep/Garrus trilogy playthrough. Next will be BroShep/Tali and the others. I've always played FemShep/Kaidan so it has been really strange to play the others.

I usually romance Anders on DA2 but I have romanced Fenris on some playthroughs. And ya, it feels weird.

On Mass Effect I can only romance Thane. I tried Garrus or Kaidan but, yuck, no, not my type. Is like kissing my brother!

I feel like a dick if I dont romance Tali. I have so many playthroughs of ME2 were I started off romancing Jack or Miranda and I always go leave them for Tali.

Every time I've played through the series(twice with Mass Effect 1: once as my first blind playthrough, the second as my perfect playthrough, induced because all my save data for Mass Effect disappeared one day/many times with ME2/three times with ME3), I've romanced Tali. I always liked her since the first game, and was glad to see her be romanceable in ME2, and did so in every playthrough I've ever done. I've never romanced anyone else.

So I decided to play through ME1 again and romance Liara. I did that, talking to Ashley also, and halfway through the romance I began to like Ashley more, actually. So I finished the Liara romance, loaded up a save, and went back and romanced Ashley instead.

However, I'm afraid to go into ME2 now, because it will be awkward to not romance Tali. I'm so used to it that it will seem weird, knowing I shouldn't have an emotional attachment to her in this playthrough. I've never been one for "Do a playthrough and to this, this, and this, and then do another playthrough with that, these, and those." I always felt that I should play the game and make the decisions I wanted to make, not play it just to see what happens in certain parts with certain things. I can look that up on YouTube.

So has anyone else felt this way, or am I just weird?

I tend to romance Tali aswell, but I've tried others. I don't tend to feel weird when romancing others ingame, since there isn't much real dialogue. I do feel weird reading fanfic of other romances though.

I would recommend Liara if you liked Tali. Ash is pretty different, and although she is nice in ME1 she just annoys me in ME3. Currently I am starting an Ash, then Jack LI character.
