there has to be a standard map to make things equal. Some maps are just too big to post a decent time, and firebase white would just cause people to cry "farm map"

It would be fun to see these best of the best players do something like

Fastest speed run by race. (like an all turian, or quarian team)
Fastest speed run my map.
Etc...

Did primes spawn? I don't think I saw any primes, and very few pyros. From what i've seen of speedruns, the bigger enemies all tend to get stuck in one place. Ah well congrats guys!

Well, Glacier is the de facto speed run map. There's practically no better map.

I would like to see yardsticks established by map. No map will beat Glacier of course, but I want to see a Jade record, Goddess record and (ancestors forgive me) a Rio record . And every other map of course. Glacier bores me to tears by now and I only play it for credits, when it randomly comes up in U/U/G, or when speed running with the group.

Speed runs on most of the non-Glacier maps would also be more challenging for many reasons, e.g. bosses wouldn't get stuck behind each other at spawn points as consistently, team members would have a tougher time regrouping after rushing separate spawns due to greater geographic distance, worse objectives (most of Glacier's objectives are among the least difficult in the game; only its disable devices can be tricky), etc.

I already posted my congrats so I'm not diminishing the team's accomplishments here, lol.
