This does not seem to be true with Team AreleX's empricial testing done comparing load times from PC and Xbox over youtube.

We did a lot of testing and watched a lot of videos to confirm this but pc does have about a 10-20 second advantage with the loading screens (depends on if the game is installed on xbox) . Watch the videos and look at the time stamps when you enter the loading screen and again at the mission success. The entire time you are in the loading screen the timer is running.

I remember comparing your 9:xx on Gold to our previous Gold runs, before we beat that and I got exact same loading & wait times. I guess the sample wasn't big enough or something changed since then.

I personally will try to actively play with the newer members on this gamertag to get them involved in the gooshings and Tankbee rockets we all in Team AreleX have come to love.

 Due to hte success of this group the original Team Arelex gamertag has filled its friends list so I created a second gamertag Team AreleX 2 so newer members can add that and be more involved. It was a mistake I added an extra shotgun gear 5 to each build that i copy and pasted. Should be fixed now.

For comparison look at the first 2 sub 11 minute speed run videos:

PC: PC 11:32 Run
Xbox: xbox 11:57 run

Looking at the time difference from when the wave 1 banner pops up to the end of the exraction timers show that the times were closer than the score screen says. PC wave 1 starts at 27 and extraction ends at 11:30 for a total of 11:03, game timer shows 11:32. Xbox wave 1 at 18 and extractions ends at 11:35 for a total of 11:17, game screen shows 11:57.

Comparing these 2 videos from the start of wave 1 pc was ahead by 14 seconds, game screen shows pc ahead by 25.

Please leave this thread. You can always go start another thread and get it locked with your responses that ignore all logic and reason. If you would actually watch the video and investigate you would know that my primary weapon is the Harrier. My back up is the pirahna and sense ammo powers aren't correctly applying to you secondary weapon I can assure you that the pirahna is not the abomination of OP'ness that you claim even with the cloak bonus if it is lacking all top amps.

Well you certainly wouldn't use a Black Widow would you?

I've been through it before, the Piranha is ONE OF THE BEST weapons for close range combat. Of course you're gonna use it for speeedruns where you are almost always within 5-10m of an enemy.

You'll also notice Bechter used a Harrier because he was at mid-long range 90% of the time. It again is ONE OF THE BEST weapons for mid-long range combat.

They'd happily use the the Reegar if it  weren't for sync kill boss spam along with Banshees, Brutes and Phantoms having an 85% sync kill rate and the 95% rate on the ATLASes.

They'd also use a Claymore if it weren't for it being single shot meaning it's burst DPS is SLIGHTLY lower than the Piranhas.

Platinum is nothing but a gimmick, it's cranking the sh- out of your DPS to down roid-raged tanks. Nothing more. Almost every wave past 5 (bar 6, 7, 10) have 3 boss enemies and an F-Ton of Phantoms/Hunters/Marauders. It's nothing but a spam of cheap (and often times bugged) enemies.

Must be referring to the cobra. Lots of cobra missiles used in these speedruns
